Love my accord hybrid

I am big fan of hybrid cars…wife had two Prius and I had a Prius, wanted a larger more comfortable sedan type and accord was the final choice. After testing Camry hybrid and accord - accord was the winner. Roomier interior, nicer interior fabric - don’t need leather or feaux leather, very comfortable seating as compared to Prius. Ride is very nice and solid / smooth soft. Hybrid engine and gas engine gives great accelleration - love it! Large trunk space volume to pack items for a road trip. Original tires are good Michelin type that makes big difference on ride. Michelin and Bridgestone are the best tires for hybrid and/or good smooth soft ride - and mileage mpg too. With large windows - tinted ceramic grade - windows makes big difference to interior cooling. Got a roof rack from Inno brand….aero rack is slick on car and overall i love my Accord - a honda fan now. Future other car maybe the CRV hybrid.

Great car, super efficient

We purchased a used 2021 Accord Hybrid EX-L. We opted for this model because we wanted the smaller, more efficient wheels and a quieter ride from the regular-profile 17" tires. The car drives great. It feels solid and composed over rough surfaces and is much better in reducing road noise than our 2008 Accord. In our first tank, we got well over 50 MPG in EV mode in commuting, local, and stop-go traffic. I was driving conservatively to maximize mileage and we got astonishing numbers. We're extremely happy with this purchase.

Terrible CVT

That belt-drive CVT is typically horrible. It ruins the driving experience. It is a reliability nightmare. That droning 😩

Had the car almost a year and a half and it’s been everything I bought it for and more. It gets the promised gas mileage as long as it’s more than about 45 degrees. Cold does lower the mileage. Although my mileage is excellent I should add that I live in a flat state. Cars is beautifully engineered and very well built. Only real complaint is it has too much road noise but I think that’s a code mom Honda thing. I highly recommend this car.

Loving life in my Accord Hybrid (touring model)

The only SMALL issues I have with this car is the low seating position does make it a bit more difficult to enter and the mileage while being really good (close to 40MPG) it is not close to what was advertised when I purchased it (48MPG). But that might be because of the much larger tires than come with the touring model. Other than that, I am very impressed with this car. It is the quietest car I have ever owned; the MPG is amazing, those wide, low-profile tires make it handle like a sports car in the turns, the heads-up display makes you more mindful of the speed you are driving, along with the collision warning system (that's already saved me from two parking lot fender benders). But most of all, this car is by far the best-looking 4 door sedan (at its price point) in my viewpoint. With that silver paint job and wider low-profile tires, I was hooked from the moment I saw it. So much so, that I was willing to pay the dealer markup price that is pretty much the norm these days (due to the chip shortage). Update after owning this car for 2 years: Still loving it in all the ways I previously mentioned. I don't seem to ever get the 48 MPG the brochures claimed it would get. Lower 40s MPG is the norm for me. And I'm OK with that. They say the newer Accord is even more improved than mine ... I don't see how.
