Love my High Mileage T-Bird
I drive a lot (highway) and I got 249971 on the same engine and transmission. This car got me the best price per mileage. I recently changed the fuel pum and starter. Also, I changed the alternator and the battery. No other mechanical problems... By the way, the transmission started to slip in OD but I can still drive Ok in D. I considering to get a used 1997 T-bird.
Fun car
Just consider the condition. The SC was fun in it's day

1990 SuperBird w/ the engine that never says NO
Best car I ever had. It was a 5-speed manual. It came with a year's free membership in Sports Car Club of America, so I got to run on some tracks . That engine always was ready to deliver MORE. Regardless whether I asked for more at 25mph or 150mph. It handled well, too . I wish I could get another.

A wonderfully different kind of animal
perfect
Old faithful
I bought this car 4 years ago with 112k. It now has 145k, it's the V6. I drove it across the country, and it has remained one of the few consistent things in my life for those years. I had an inexpensive transmission and brake problem, other than that NOTHING. It keeps going and going and going and going...you get the idea.
