Not a good ride
I have owned my 2025 Ranger Lariat 4X2 for about 6 months now. I would have to say that the truck is nicely equipped. Getting past that it rides stiff. I bought this truck based off how good this site said it rides well; they go that one wrong. It has had 2 recalls, 1 for the brakes that they came and reprogrammed the ABS module and to me it is just the same. Still at times harder to stop than other times. It also has a side curtain Airbag recall that prevents Ford from selling them off the lot, (so I have been told) but it is okay if you already bought it. They don't have parts for the repair as of when I am writing this. (September 27, 2025) The front doors don't close all the way, I mean they stick out a little compared to the backdoors. This creates a slight squeaking noise that I hear all the time. Now I will say it has its share of rattles that I don't like because the truck is so new. It only has 3400 miles on it, and I am looking to get rid of it. My wife told me not to buy a Ford, and I didn't listen now I regret buying this one. Hopefully whatever I buy I will not have to put 200 pounds of sandbags in the bed to calm the ride down.
