Used 2021 Ford Ranger Consumer Reviews
Some good Some not!
I purchased the Super cab so I could get the longer bed. Since I would likely never have people in the rear seat this worked well for me. PRO's Better looking than the 2021 competitors. The economy and the acceleration of the truck are awesome.(25 mpg combined) Only truck I could find with chrome wheels and bumpers (albeit the wheels really aren't chrome?) Cons: The ride is harsh on bumps and rough road. The 10 speed transmission bogs down at slow speed. In my neighborhood with 20-25 mph speed the truck tries to stay in sixth gear and sounds putrid. I remedy this by forcing it down to #5 using the buttons on shifter (P.I.T.A.). The paint quality is lacking. ( I have a 2015 suv @ 75.000 miles with far fewer nicks/dings that the Ranger with only 20,000 miles. (Even the chrome wheels have dings) My final observation was that I was disappointed with the XLT trim level.(Where this represented a fairly well appointed mid-level trim etc, it now seems to be very basic not even including power driver seat. 2 yrars and love this truck
I did all my research on the internet and from what I read I was sold on the Ford Ranger. I bought the truck from a dealer 3 hours away and they delivered it that evening. The comments I get on this truck tells me I made the right choice. I don't put allot of miles on each year but I have taken two trips and the MPG is great. I average 23MPG around town and almost 30MPG on the road. If anyone would be interested in a mid-size truck this is the one to purchase. I managed to fine the 4X4 Lariat model and could not be happier.

2021 Ranger FX-4 Worth a look and test drive
I have had my Ranger XLT FX4 for almost 2 years. The power is great and is very responsive. The truck looks good and performs as I need it. I average 20.5 around town and around 22.9 on the highway, not bad for a 4wd. This is a daily driver that I depend on and have had great success with. The 4wd performance is on point with what I encounter in woods and mud trails. Overall, I am satisfied with the performance, value, and the look and feel. Only thing stopping me from rating a 5 is the following: Ride is great on the highway but on city roads that need work the ranger is not as smooth as you would expect. The infotainment center and controls are good, but they could use a little refreshing and updating. Storage in the cab area is limited. I would think Ford would get a little more creative with storage. Overall, I am satisfied with the ranger. I test drove other makes that had trucks in this class and bought the ranger.

I had a 2018 Tacoma and we needed to by a 4 door truck so i could pick up our grandsons from school this year. Went to the dealership where we bought the Toyota didn't see a one my wife said look at that Ranger. Love at first site we didn't even take out for a test ride. I am 68 years old I know vehicles this is a great truck since July 15th we have put a little over 6,000 miles on the truck.
Home on the Ranger
Although I’ve only driven the 2021 Ranger less than 100 miles so far , it has exceeded my expectations and has provided a wow factor. The fit, finish, and driving experience, although, very short at this time is excellent.
