Still driving my Probe!
I have owned my Probe since I bought it new in 1995, now has 91,000 miles. Have had some problems with the idling and had to have the air intake manifold gasket replaced. Other than that, just brakes and tires and routine maintenance.
Really fast: High reliability
Car handles great, looks good, and has alot of power. It costs A LOT to repair, but it is worth the money.
Still a blast to drive!
I have now cranked out 107,000 miles on this car and I still love the way it handles. I look for winding roads just to enjoy the way it hugs the road. I finally replaced the brake pads after 85K miles and I'm still on the original clutch and exhaust system. The car has been as reliable as any car I've ever owned - and I'm 54 years old.
Owned Two Probes
I first owned a 1994 Probe and never had a problem with it but now have the 1995 SE and had nothing but one problem after another. Especially with the o/d light coming on and flashing on and off. This made the transmission completely go and just had to fork out $1700 to replace it. A great car to drive but sorry transmissions.
Great car for the $
I have put over 60,000 miles on my car with no problems what so ever. The doors shut tight, the engine purrs to the point I try to restart it at intersections. Performance and driving are wonderful for the price. I would highly recomend....
