Best Convertible Money Can BUY!!!!

Wow, this car is sweet! Love the new look and I will tell you so does everyone else! I have people commenting all the time about what a beautiful convertible mustang I have. I admit I think I have the best possible color combination, red with black premium leather. My vehicle is the 50th Anniversary Edition....and boy is it nice. We have a new Cadillac suv and my husband thinks the seats are just as comfortable as that of the Cadillac and that says ALOT.......I had an older mustang convertible that I sold to purchase the anniversary model and I had no problem selling that either......You can't go wrong buying Ford and you certainly won't regret getting the mustang model. I can't say enough good things about what Ford did with the new design it looks and runs awesome!

Back in a Mustang after 41 years

The car itself is decent. The electronics leave a lot to be desired. The mirror on the passenger side has a mind of it's own. Often upon entering the car the mirror will move to the farthest setting and continue to attempt to move outside its mechanical limits. It pops and jumps until one turns on the ignition, then stops. The rear camera fails regularly. The dealership is at a loss. It makes ownership of an otherwise nice car seem crappy. Update: October 2020. The car remains dependable with no serious issues, although we drive it mainly on the weekends, so it only has 17K miles on it. The issue with the mirrors continues as both mirrors pop and jump for 15 to 20 seconds after one opens the doors. I figured that the mechanism would have stripped out the gears breaking them by now, however they so far they haven't. The car underwent a recall for door latches which were changed out. Ford sent out another letter a few weeks back wanting me to check something with the door latches, however I haven't had the time to address it yet. The car was selected to represent the 2015 year in a display at the Ponies in the Smokies car show in Tennessee. Once parked under the bright lights in the exhibition hall, the paint looked blotchy. Some experts identified the problem as "solvent pop", a situation where the solvent separates from the paint color and burst through the surface causing a blemish in the paint during the drying process. The problem is widespread in the models painted Deep Impact Blue. Ford refused to address the issue stating that as a production vehicle some flaws are to be expected. Our local body shop quoted me a price of 25K to repaint the car "correctly" or 4K to do a "used car paint job" that won't pass muster at any car show. It was suggested that we have a "color correction" and ceremic coating by a professional detailer. We paid $1500.00 for that service and are happy with the results. The detailer was able to finely sand/polish the surface and remove 90% of the blemishes. Of course adding a ceremic coating enhances any imperfections, so the paint has to look "perfect" before a ceremic coating is added. If we were serious car show people,, this paint issue would have likely made us trade the car for a different one, however we bought the car to use as a weekend cruiser, so we'll just live with the flaws. I upgraded the exhaust system with a Borla S type, and it sounds incredible! We added a cold air intake and a Bama tune which bumped the HP from 385 to 465. The back up camera still works intermittently. The dealer says there are no codes in the computer, so they are at a loss. Is this a fun car? Absolutely! Does the car attract attention? Too much! Does the car foster a sense of confidence of it's dependability? Yes. Given the issues experienced so far, does the car give the impression of quality? Not really. Would I buy this car again? No, the desire to own a Mustang has faded for us although we don't have plans to sell or trade the car at this time.

Mustang GT convertible fan

If you're looking for a commuter car to take the kids to soccer practice, this isn't the car for you. It doesn't turn on a dime, it doesn't have a lot of trunk space, and if you're looking for lots of places to store maps and sunglasses and purses and/or man bags, this also is not the car for you. I didn't want any of the things I mentioned. I wanted a convertible with a big V-8, a nice loud engine, a comfortable front seat, and a top that didn't take an engineering degree to put down. I got all of that and more with my 2015 mustang gt premium convertible with automatic transmission. Manual transmission was not an option as I am somewhat handicapped, but who cares? I put the accelerator to the floor and my mustang jumps ahead of traffic with a nice growl of the engine and pushes you back into the seat. The interior looks great. More leather and less plastic than the 2014 model. The audio system is amazing and rumbles just as loud as the engine. Putting the top down is quick and easy. I've had the car for about a month and I get compliments at the intersection as well as the parking lot at the grocery store. It's a pleasure to drive and I couldn't be happier. I had a 1983 mustang gt convertible years ago but there is no comparison. Before you get to critical, try driving the new GT.

I got my 2.3 EcoBoost Auto 2 days ago and it is great. I preordered before I had the chance to sit in one! External look: Sharp, Aggressive, Smooth. Internal: Updated from prev years. Better lookingand feeling material. Comfortable, feels bigger in the front, still no space in backseats, Great console compared to prev ones. Engine: Very Powerful, more than my 3.7V6, probably louder too which is good. Better Acceleration. Tech: Can switch between different Steering and Driving Modes. Smart Key, Keep in ur pocket and u can open the door and drive without using it. Music sound is good. Rear view camera standard Auto has tip-tronic feature. Aired and heated leather sts

I got rid of my 2011 Mustang GT. Premium to get the 2015 Mustang GT. Premium with Performance Package and I can honestly say that I'm not disappointed. This car handles way better than my old one did, looks sharper and the interior feels like a luxury vehicle until you downshift and hit 3500 rpms and hear the sweat exhaust rumble. Of course, I'm not leaving my car stock but the beauty of this one is that it doesn't need much tweaking. Tires are staggered, suspension is lower and sound system is great. About the only things I'm tweaking is adding a cold air intake, exhaust and tune. Over all this is a great car as is! I would definitely recommend this car. Update: I have been driving this car for about 10,000 miles and so far it hasn't disappointed me. Although I have had to buy two rear tires already but I knew that would happen with heavy foot. I have dropped this car about an inch and added spacers in the rear. This car is over a year old and it still turns heads. I still think this is the best mustang I have owed so far.
