Used 2017 Ford Fusion S 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Horrible Lemon
I haven't had my brand new for over 6 months and it has been in the shop over 10 times. Ford keeps coming up with excuses why they can't buy the vehicle back. When it comes to providing me with another form of transportation if they don't have any vehicles available they tell me I have to pay out of my pocket and they MAY reimburse me. Ford volunteers to pay one month note which is still not paid so I am receiving harassing phone calls from Ford credit all day plus it is being reported on my credit as delinquent payment. I will never recommend anyone to purchase from Ford especially a brand new car.

WARNING! ENGINEERS SCRATHING THEIR HEADS
A total and complete LEMON! I could not even drive my brand new Ford 2017 Fusion off the lot after spending hours in sales purchasing the car. They had to bring the vehicle to me the next day. Since that time it has been in the shop at least 6 times with the battery draining overnight, or, simply not starting up again after a shopping trip at only 300 miles. It is not reliable, and I am afraid it won't start at any given time. It once stalled in the middle of traffic causing more concern that there is an additional electrical problem. Ford thought they had finally figured out the problem and replaced the computer software. But after a couple months of starting ok, again, the battery went dead overnight. Now, the engineers are scratching their head trying to figure out the problem on a car they designed!! I will never recommend buying a Ford vehicle, and, especially a Ford Fusion.

Love the car - Hate the headaches!
I love the looks of the car. The ride is smooth, handles well, technology is awesome. Seats are comfortable. The problem: twice the first six weeks I had the car (purchased new) it has failed to start. Dealership said it was the battery and replaced. Car started fine for a couple of weeks, then did it again. The engine did not even try to turn over. I've had the car in the shop four times for the same problem. Finally this last time they said the computer need adjustment so they did that. That was about six weeks ago and the car has started fine ever since. This last time was at a different dealership shop than where I purchased the car.

Waste of time and money
So I brought this ford 9/8/22 and it had given me nothing but problems I had to get new breaks, new coils, spark plugs, battery and my coolant was continuously leaking and I took it to a mechanic they told me I had a blown head gasket and this is all within 3 months of me having this car.
