Mixed Feelings
I purchased the SE model but with the optional 2.0L Ecoboost. I was looking for performance and was not disappointed as it's on par with the 250HP V6 vehicle it replaced. Front end styling was the most appealing factor - a pleasant departure from everything else on the market. I purposely avoided the Titanium model. I did not want a ridiculous spoiler on the trunk lid and feel it's loaded with too much non-required tech. The Fusion handles well and has excellent braking. The interior is quiet and comfortable although the seats are exceptionally firm.
Disaster in the making
I bought my 2013 Titanium in Detroit. Within 6 hours of purchase, the car had to be towed to the dealer with a problem that was diagnosed as a starter module. Things have gone downhill from there. The highway mileage...even in 70 degree weather, NEVER exceeds 28 mpg, nothing close to the advertised 33. The mytouch system is finicky and unreliable. Remote start terrible. The electronic lane change chimes go off for no reason. Voice activated controls are useless; the noise levels in the car are so high and people cannot hear you on the speaker phone. Sych will NOT work with many phone brands. Car is a train wreck. 2010 Fusion with V6 was more powerful with much better mileage.
BEST BANK FOR YOUR BUCK!!
Just purchased a 2013 Fusion. Honestly the best bank for your buck is in the se Luxury and Tech package with a 2.0L ecoboost. It comes equipped with just about everything you want out of the titanium minus the unnecessary features. It performs like a German vehicle for the cost of a domestic car. Ford has come a Long way and they continue to step in the right direction. The quality of the materials are excellent for the price. Its no bmw material quality but more Quality = more $$$ this makes the cut in every department. get the fusion!
2013 Ford Fusion
I traded in my 2005 Honda Accord EX for the 2013 Ford Fusion , I HATE it, the gas mileage is terrible I do all city driving and am lucky to get 19 MPG. Have had minor problems with the driver door panels already!!!! Ford has a long long way to go to compare with Honda. Wish i had my old Honda back
Loving my Fusion
I'm really tall and I when I sit in this car I think it was made for me. It looks great, handles very well and has adequate acceleration. The most recent update for MyFord Touch fixes the bugs. Mileage has been good. I get 34-36 mpg HWY but city mileage can drop below 20mpg in short, stop and go traffic.
