Don't buy a Fusion Energi
I have driven my Fusion energi for 3000 miles. I have had one flat and two sidewall tire failures , caused by BRUSHING curbs in parking lots. OF COURSE NO SPARE. Many hours waiting for road service and over $700 spent. This car cannot be driven anywhere safely. Unlike other manufacturers no compact spare is available and a full size spare will not fit in trunk. Obviously Ford has not considered customer convience or safety. Never get vehicle with no spare tire it was so terrible I disposed of vehicle

2013 Fusion 1.6L Ecoboost MPG
I just purchased a 2013 fusion 1.6L ecoboost that is rated at 36mpg on hwy. At best I can get 32. Took a trip to SC and back to MO and averaged 32. I've had 5 new vehicles (none of them ford) in the past 10 years and all of them got what they said they would. How are others out there doing with their MPG-specifically the 1.6L ecoboost engine?
1.6 SE Ecoboost....fun car to drive......horrible gas mileage!!!!
I was driving a 2011 Ford Fusion SEL and once my husband & I saw the new design of the 2013, we decided to trade in my car. I put on about 40k miles on my car each year so it's imperative that I not only have a car that's comfortable to drive, but one that gets decent gas mileage. I was told we should get better gas mileage with the new smaller engine and eco boost. I averaged 28-30 mpg on my last Fusion....probably 60% highway and 40% city. I'm now averaging 25 mpg and am extremely upset with Ford. In addition, the sync, radio & bluetooth just stopped working at 1800 miles but then started again the next day. Love driving it....hate the mpg!!! Thinking of getting another car..
