Should've stayed with a Toyota

The design is poor, during the summer when using AC condensation impeeds your line of sight out thefront window. The car is on its four recall. Im on my third catalytic convertor AT 32,000 miles. The tires from the factory had to be replaced at 30,000 miles, they were to be warranted until 65,000 miles. Manufacturer would not honor warranty because on had tires rotated twice. Which is a load of crap since the tire wear was even on all four tires. I should've stayed with Toyota but liked the look of the Fusion, Big Mistake. I will be going back to another Toyota. Farewell Fusion....very unhappy wIth purchase! I was sent an email to update my review, the engine failed at 50,600 miles! The dealer would not contribute to repairs nor would Ford !! This vehicle was serviced at the dealer & oil was changed every 5,000 miles. Piece of junk

I have had my Fusion for three years. Drives well, good fit and finish, quiet, great sound system and electronics. Exterior styling is excellent and gas mileage is good (averaging 25.4 miles driving mostly city). MySync is good but has had a couple of hiccups that required taking it to the dealer to get a newer version of the software installed. Dealer did the job quickly and threw in a free oil change so I was happy. Highly recommend the vehicle.

I have never been a big car fan. They have always simply provided transportation. Something however happened when I looked at the Ford Fusion. When I got in it for a test drive, I was amazed by the comfort. When I put my foot on the gas, I was impressed with the performance. The features - that make it fun to drive as well knocked my socks off. Add to this a dealership (Paul Cerame, St Louis) and salesman (Tony L.) who did not mess with me and I couldn't be happier.

I purchased a 13 Fusion SE 1.6 Auto 1 week ago. It has Luxury, Technology with My Ford Touch, Sunroof Packages and Park Assist. I spent many hours researching this site and reading the reviews. Here are my initial thoughts about the car. The build quality inside and out are outstanding. The car is very comfortable, rides and handles exceptionally well. Only driven 200 miles but averaging 29MPG city/hwy combined. Did see 37 highway driving the posted speed limit. Only issue is I have had to do a Hard Reset twice on the My Ford Touch because it fails to connect to my iPhone. This seems to happen after I drive it without the phone and it won' connect next trip. Software update coming Im told.

Great for looks, not functionality

As soon as I bought the car there was a bad shaking problem at highway speeds, eventually I take it in and after 4 trips to the shop they finally tell me it’s cracked supports on the right side, thankfully covered under warranty. A little after that the USB ports stopped working, that would be 600 dollars to even look at so guess I won’t have those anymore. Then it was the gas cover, now it doesn’t stay closed and doesn’t open on its own I have to use something to wedge it out of the quarter panel, guess I won’t have that either. Radio constantly doesn’t connect to my phone or just drops connection. Now the back seat won’t close and I’m told “Yeah it does that sometimes”. Those issues, coupled with things constantly warping or falling off due to the heat has made this car a nightmare I regret buying.
