I purchased my car new and it has given me very little grief. It is the 2.5 litre S model. I have changed normal wear and tear parts like brakes and wheel bearings and that is it. The car now has 345000kms and it is still going strong. I drive the car daily which is probably one of the reasons it has held up so well. Also I have have had regular servicing done every 5000 kms. This is the best car that I have ever owned.

Impressed

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this car! While it's a 4 cylinder, it's zippy and responsive. The inside feels refined and is very comfortable to ride in. It's easy to carry 4 full sized adults in comfort. It's a great choice for a midsize sedan while still hanging on to the cool and responsive side of the world.

Great Vehicle

I have been test driving vehicles for over a year now. I have been waiting for a car to wow me at a price that was equally as impressive. This vehicle did it for me. The only vehicle that drove better during my testing was the lexus GS 350 AWD which was $26000 more expensive. I purchased this vehicle with an x-plan including moon/tune pack and navigation for only 28300. It is an amazing car for the money. The car has tremendous quality inside and out. The tech features on the car are amazing, for example Sync will read a text message aloud in the vehicle and is very easy to use. The MPG could be better but wanted to have some power which the car definitely has.

Best car I have ever driven.

This was the first new car I have ever owned. I drove this thing off the lot with only 22 miles on it! Handles like a dream, acceleration is great, and the interior is comparable to a high-end luxury car. The only gripe I have about this car is the fuel economy. I do a substantial amount of city driving and I find my fuel economy dipping into the 15s at times, but the highway mpg is excellent (roughly 29mpg). All in all, a great car, and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

A great surprise

After 6 months and 12k miles, here are some of my thoughts. Performance is great. Corners well and has impressive acceleration even with half-throttle. Fuel economy has been the biggest surprise - Ford definitely underpromised and overachieved in that category (rated 18/27; I can get about 22/30). Inside, there's very little wind noise, but the stock tires are pretty stiff so road noise can be a nuisance. I like the seats, but some people may find them a bit firm. Even with lots of driving I've had no issues with reliability - everything just seems to work as it should. I wish I had more room for a detailed review, but here's the main point: I am very glad I decided to buy this car.
