I was in a car accident and totally my Jeep Grand Cherokee; which I absolutely loved. Before my Jeep I drove a Dodge Durango for 11 years. I have always been a Dodge/Crystler/Jeep girl/family. After the accident I started looking into purchasing a 2-3 year old SUV. I looked at Audi, Mercedes, Lincoln, Cadillac, Jeep, Toyota, and finally the 2018 Ford Explorer Sport. I was incredibly surprised by the comfort of the seats, ease of access to controls and touch screen monitor. The ride is extremely smooth, sound system is nice; totally shocked. Needless to say, after 40 years as a Dodge girl, I am now officially a FORD fan!!!! Thanks for making such an incredible vehicle.

My fist vehicle was a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac and it lasted me 475000 miles till I finally sold it and I still see her on the road to this day. After that truck I was chasing a vehicle like that for years until I finally stepped into my 2018 Ford Explorer Sport. I bought it used in 2019 with 22000 on the odometer and as of today I just hit 74000. First off the power train on the vehicle is amazing, when you shift into sport and just punch it, the Explorer reacts fast and hauls ass. It grips the road and is responsive to every action. The AWD is amazing, the knob is a little weird to get used to but Ford tuned the AWD system for any terrain and it takes it all on. I have taken it through dirt trails, Snow, and even mud from a hunting trip and it handled the situation no problem. The interior is nice with the red striped leather, now I have added weather tech mats all around in the vehicle since I have kids and I must say it is a good purchase to save the floors and the third row back seats from wear and tear. The towing capacity is great and I can haul my small trailer and two quads no issues. The only issue I have had since owning this vehicle is 1 of my turbos fail but Ford instantly took my vehicle in, threw me in a rental, and replaced both turbos and extended my power train warranty. I must say I didn’t expect to fall back in love with an explorer since ford got rid of the Sport Tracs. But Ford has perfected the new Explorer and I recommend it to anyone looking for a mid size SUV.
