Used 2018 Ford Escape Titanium 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6A) Consumer Reviews
Great SUV
Just love the Ford Escape. Just the right size not too big but still has enough room for comfort. Perfect for running around with grandkids and great gas mileage.

Toy or Transportation
Just got it. Having fun learning all it can do or assist with. Hope it last as long and is as dependable as the 2009 escape we traded in.

Lift Gate Dangerous - Beware if you have children
I have a 2018 Titanium that has caused me to acquire a concussion. Ford seems unconcerned. The lift gate opened while I was driving down the street without a warning light and my suitcase fell out in the road. When I was reaching in to push it further back, the lift gate closed on my head and kept going down. It hit me hard enough at just the right angle to cause me to have a concussion. It was determined by Ford that due to the under car electronics for the liftgate, my foot must have crossed path with the sensor causing it to close. They also said it does not go back up until it comes in contact with an object (my head). It does not sense an object and go back up. If the object does not create enough force, it will continue to close. My head did not create enough force. The liftgate continues to close on my family. Ford cannot disconnect the "supposed" added feature. The safety of that feature needs to be considered. Also, the adaptive cruise is dangerous in inclement weather with snow and slush. It disconnected on its own while on the highway propelling me almost into the back of an 18 wheeler.

Pile of junk
I bought a 2018 CPO Ford Escape Titanium. It had about 15,000 miles when I bought it. Long story short it had the following replaced under warranty Differential parts Airbag harness 2 airbags HVAC head unit Air bag control module New 2.0 Ecoboost long block Motor at 57,000 miles coolant into cylinder ( Google it) Major problem Not fixed Seatbelt tensioner bad Something in relay fuse box kept engine fan running even when car was off Do yourself a favor. Do NOT buy a Ford. Yes I got lucky and it was under warranty but I tried to get Ford to take it back due to it being a lemon. Didn't happen. Ford Customer service sucked and were of no help. I had a Ford Escape and a 2016 Ford Explorer limited. Both junk. I baby my cars and Maintain them. I took losses and got rid of them both. I'll never buy a Ford again. If rather walk. The Ford will be in the shop anyways so what's the difference.
Finding the perfect car
I recently purchased a 2018 Ford Escape Titanium from Van Drunen Ford in Homewood, Illinois. With the help of my salesman, Tom Schultz, I was able to get the color I wanted which also had all the options I was looking for. I love it. It is a very comfortable vehicle. It does have all the bells and whistles and it will be fun learning how to utilize them. We have purchased vehicles from this dealership in the past and found everyone there to be friendly and helpful whether it be in sales or the service department. Undoubtedly I would highly recommend them to our family and friends.
