I bought the Escape new on Black Friday and after 5300 miles and several trips back to the dealer....The dealer agreed to pay me back the entire purchase price on this very challanged vehicle. (1) the heat doesnt work very well, (2) the breaks squeal, (3) the interior rattles. I owned a new 2010 and that was a VERY good vehicle 70K miles and only 2 trips to the dealer for recalls/TSBs.

I bought the Escape SE in March. About 1750 miles now. Averages 25 MPG now, with conservative driving in the City. About 50 miles a day. Not tested on the highway yet. 05-10-2016 05-26-2018 Now about 50000 miles. Was getting 26.5 mpg, but now it has come down to 24.5 don't know why. Changed filer, reported to the Service, got it checked, still don't know why. Had only minor issues. Regular services were done. Same driving style - now mpg is 26.6/gallon. After the Fuel Pump Recall work, one of the sensors went bad - service engine soon warning showed up. Sensor was replaced, and now running good. 11-10-2016 The Escape SE is running good, giving 26.5 mpg with 30,000+ miles for mainly city driving. As of today I am happy with my purchase. 11-18-2017. Noticed highway miles 20 plus. MPG went down 26.5 to 26.3 after 600 miles. Now replaced air and cabin filters. May be due to that. Per Ford, he could not find any other reason. 44000 miles now. Running good. Happy. Will keep an eye on highway miles.

Not expecting this many issues with a Titanium pac

Car looked nice but the wind and interior rattling was so annoying. Took to dealership multi times with no change. Every bump has a rattle in dash and doors. Wasn't expecting a low quality and attention to detail on a Titanium package Ford

Escape 2.0 liter titanium 4WD/10,000 mile update

It's hard to believe but at an 80 mile per day round trip commute I am already at 10,000 miles in a vehicle I bought in April 2014. I do winding up and down country roads and a piece of interstate hiway every day. Mileage now 26.5mpg in combined driving. Not bad at all. This car continues to perform as if it is a much more expensive car. Still hugs the road like a beemer and with excellent acceleration. No rattles or squeaks. Solid feel. Mytouch has worked flawlessly, with no problems and pretty functional. Moon roof puts in exactly the right breeze--not too rough but can feel it. At this rate I'll have 50-60K after 2 years. I'll come back for an updated review at 25,000.

Very Disappointed In FORD!

I own a 2014 Ford Escape. I have had nothing but issues with it. I have had issues with the transmission and now my instrument panel is going out and Ford WILL NOT fix it. They say because it was manufactured in 2013 it is not covered by the recall on the 2014!! This issue clearly says in the recall that it is unsafe as you can no longer tell the mileage, tire pressure, cannot receive any messages, and cannot tell what gear your car is in. Ford should back up their products period! There are two other outstanding recalls, one for the door latches and another for a issue with a part on the engine that can catch fire...but there is NO FIX for it! Are you kidding me?? Now these issues are going to cost a fortune to address. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER FORD! I Will let everyone that is interested in buying a Ford not to! I had called the ford motor corporate office in Detroit and was treated pretty shitty! I do not have the funds to repair these issues with my instrument panel. I have pleaded for them to fix the issue to no avail. Very Disappointed! DO NOT BUY A FORD!!!
