Overall am very happy with my purchase. Quiet, high quality cabin. Sync voice commands work most of the time and are very convenient. Engine is very responsive and ride is smooth.

I am in love with my 2013 Escape. This Suv is so awesome. I get 28 mpg in the City and I have yet to take it on the highway. I see so many negative reviews about the mileage and maybe those with negative reviews do not drive a car well by utilizing cruise control etc. Acceleration and braking are also keys to mileage and if you take off really fast and then brake equally as fast to stop of course your mileage will be lower, as well as being hard on your brakes and transmission etc. . If you drive fast everywhere you go that is going to affect your mileage. I have no complaints about my car and I just bought a 2013 Escape with 30,000 miles on it Dec 23 2016. This car handles well, is beautiful to look at and simply fun to drive. The Eco boost engine makes this 4 cylinder seem like a 6. I just traded in a 6 cylinder and this keeps up merging on highways on trips and every day driving and its just fun when you want to have fun. I feel bad for the people that have had a bad experience because mine has been nothing but aweaome so far. Great car. I love it

Styling and engineering are commendable. The 2.0l "Eco-boost" engine is a marvel of performance and reasonable economy. Many features and functions are comparable to those found in upscale brands. And the automatic park feature really works!

Get the AWD! if you live in rainy/snowy climates

Slower acceleration typical of an American brand not particularly to my liking; poor traction control on wet/snowy roads even with new tires. Get the AWD for these conditions!
