Just a fantastic car!
I love this car. It's no hot rod but it has plenty of go when it needs it. I work only about 12 miles from where I live so I'm doing almost all my driving on electric power. Cargo room is a bit limited with the back seats up, but with them folded down there's plenty. It's comfortable. The SYNC system works well. And it's quiet!

Great Commuter car with questionable interior qual
Leased a 2015 C-Max. One month after the purchase, noticed that the interior trim fit and finish is on par with the late 90s Hyundais. The trim is literally falling apart. Glad that I leased this car instead of buying it. Pros : Roomy interior with a good ambience Sync is not as bad as people say it is. It does its Job and is a decent system My 65 miles round trip has been netting me 55 Mpg (Not too bad but should have been more for a PHEV) Cons Big battery look away what should have been a generous cargo space. (Better than Fusion Energi or Accord Hybrid though) Questionable interior quality NO SPARE TIRE!!! This is my first domestic purchase and will see how it holds up for 3 years!!!! Have had this car for and a half Still love this car Pros + The interior passenger volume of this car is deceptively large as a 350 pound coworker fits in this car with no issues. + Very peppy engine + Massive windshields make for excellent visibility. + Average Mielage of around 50 - 55 Mpg with a total range of 650 - 700 Miles between fill ups + Kids Love the Ambient Lights + Love the rain / speed sensing wipers Cons - Gas only mileage is lower than promised ( 35 actual Vs 47 Promise ) (I had a lead foot though) - Scheduler for charging and AC do not work even after 3 dealership visits (I blame the dealership Autonation ford for this) Over all makes a very good commuter car. Ford please update this car since competitors like Chevy volt and Prius prime makes newer / updated and better products now *** Last Update Overall Impressions **** Turned in my lease after 3 years of service. Pleasantly surprised with the CMax Energi. Never had a problem with the car for 45 K Miles that I drove in 3 years Great mileage 55 + MPGE average Good interior space, even my 400# lunch buddy had no problem getting in and out of the car Cons##### Ford dropped the car, I did not purchase another car from Ford and walked across to the Toyota dealership to pick up a Prius Prime Advance....

Going to buy it when lease matures!
Set the mpg gauge once we got the feel of driving the car (about 8 weeks) Have driven it 30 months 18,000 miles since the set. ( 125 mpg 20% hybrid 80% ev) EV plug-in is free. Powered off solar panels on or roof. Solar panels were free, more than free after federal & state incentives. Panels produce more electicity than the the house uses, extra powers 80% of the cars energy, one of our lawn mowers, our snow blower, electric fire place and a couple of space heaters to reduce our heating oil bills by 1/3. Love this car. But the 2018 Honda Clarity looks like it will get better milage (almost twice the battery capacity, thus almost the twice the fed & state incentives. Paid $34,000 for Cmax energi (about $23,000 after
