Viper review

2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 2dr Roadster (8.3L 10cyl 6M)

I purchased this auto after much consideration of what's available on the market for a superior performing and appearing, as well as convenient sports car. I also wanted a convertible to be able to have the open air feeling that accompanies that. This car has completely satisfied that objective and I can truthfully say that I have been completely happy with my choice.

The Truth

The car is very fun to drive, very beautiful to look at,but it is scary to drive in higher speeds because it is very jumpy and not smooth. It has virtually no electronic items in the car,not even cruise control or any other modern electronic options. It is truly an american muscle car and nothing else

incomparable

Driving the Viper is an absolutely incomparable inxperience. Nothing close to this price range is even remotely as gorgeous or as much fun to drive. Power and performance are unmatched. The amount of attention you get everywhere you take this car is unbelievable. Short of dropping a quarter million dollars on Lamborghini, Ferrari or some other hyper-exotic, there is nothing at all like this. The $80,000 price tag is a steal considering the power, performance and looks of this car. Plus the Viper name is legendary. Mustangs and Corvettes are ubiquitous, nobody cares when they see those. The car's touchy handling and huge noisy engine aren't for everyone, but I love everything about it.

buying this car was the best money i ever spent. its a hell of a lot of fun to drive if you know how to. And if u have the money to buy gas for a 10 cylinder car then i strongly suggest buying this car.

I bought a 96 GTS when they first came out and loved it. I wanted the true convertible this time and like the new body style. I didn't trade the old one in and will drive both of them.
