A great truck, an excellent pick for my first truck since moving to America. An excellent engine and gas mileage that is expectable for a truck of this size and performance. I purchased the Laramie and had the 20" wheels put on the extra money was well worth it. Fun to drive as well using for the everyday runs. Interior build quality is the only negative but still better than the very cheap feeling F150 I test drove first of all.

In the 7 months i have had my dodge ram, it has been great. I have always wanted one, and now i do, its my first new car, and i cant complain. Few minor things such as no power locks/windows, or cruise control, but those i could live with out. I think those things should be included in base models, my 82 camaro had power locks and windows. The gas mileage i thought would be better, but for city, its not great. Gotta love that Ram look!!

I love this car i have a fully loaded 2wd 1500with the upgraged sound system and the sport tow package with 20 inch rims. the only problem i have is that brakes have all been replaced at 8,000 miles and there is a body sqeeking noise and the radio doesn't get clear reception other wise i wouldn't trade it for the world

Geat vehicle--nicest I've ever owned. Only down side is cargo light switch-- be careful how it is adjusted or it will drain battery. Hemi engine? When you punch it to pass it's like you have a rocket up your behind. Truck handles well, great performance--brakes excelent.. Have driven it in snow-- handles well. I love the shift on the go to 4wd. Goes in and out of 4wd easily--no more hubs to get out and spin. I recommended the vehicle to a friend and he bought one also. I checked out Ford F-150 also, as I've driven Ford trucks for years. No comparison. Ram, hands down.

When I first drove the 2004 Dodge SLT w/ the 5.7 I was shocked by the ride & power. My wifes loaded suv w/ the air ride didn't ride this good. The power is there if you need it. It has enough room for a family. To exterior sold me...the truck is just beautiful. Interior great...can't complain. Not the best on gas...but I would still buy it even if regular was 2.50 a gallon....

Gotta have the 5.7L! 345 horses with amazing torque. I added a Volcan air intake and 3 inch dual exhausts and it's pushing 360 horses and still maintains around 13.8 mpg. If you want raw power... this is the truck you want.

At 22000 miles it has been to two differant dodge dealers with four seperate issues the radio did not work upon delivery ,the check engine light has come on twice, and finaly it was towed in as a no start requiring a four day visit at the local dodge dealer. Upon getting it started the anti-theft light began flashing! the vehicle is not equipped with the anti-theft option.Iwas informed by the thchnician there was no explanation he could give? The michalin tires the vehicle could not be worse suited to snow.

I got this truck three days ago. Put it on the highway the same day I got it drove it 630 to Texas. Babied it the whole way. Once there breakin miles completed. This truck pulls nicely. It has some fantastic torque and is so comfortable its amazing. Awesome stereo,navigational system, 500hp viper motor. It doesnt get any better than this. One of my other cars is a procharged z06 vette, and I actually like driving this truck more. I couldnt be happier and will always own a truck of this caliber as long as they keep making them.

The Lone Star Package is great. This is the 1st HEMI I have owned in a truck, and let me say WOW. That is some power, off the line and on the highway, you will not be disappointed. I have had no problems in the past 3 years, and with the great deal am not upside down on my loan :~). Just wish it had a sun roof. For RAW power and decent mpg, its well worth the money. This truck can get almost 18MPG highway, or down to 9mpg if you have a lead foot and love speed. The bottom line is the power is there when you need it!

This has been the worst vehilcle I have ever owned.The engine hesitates at 50 mph, the ride is so harsh you feel like your riding on a turnip truck, and every day there are more squeeks, rattles,and vibrations. I have owned both Ford and GM trucks and never had a vehicle with such poor ride and performance. I have taken the vehicle to the dealership 4 times since I purchased it. The only result is that the engine hesitation/slugishness is a little better. I have purchased a Dodge vehicle for the first, last, and only time.

awesome. more fun and power than my c5 corvette. i have the only one in our town of 100,000 people and it draws lots of looks and admiration. the only drawback is the 9 mpg , but with 500 hp what do you expect? almost bought the rumble bee (could have saved a lot of money) but after driving the srt- 10, no comparison!

Great truck. Hemi engine is very powerful but I only get about 14 MPG using mid grade fuel. I have the SLT modified with leather interior which is a nice upgrade. Ride is a little bouncy but with a Fiberglass topper it rides better. I havent had a chance to try the four wheel drive on the highway yet because the winter has been mild in Minnesota. This is by far, the best looking truck on the road and with the 20 inch wheels I can look down at the H2-Hummer at a stop light. I would recomend this truck to anyone and with the incentives, it's a great buy.

Get lots of compliments that reflect how the family and I feel about our truck. Not only does it look good, it is safe, reliable and suprisingly economical for the engine size and performance.

Never thought about dodge, owned ford vehicles last 15 years, no more. THis new dodge is fantastic and the dealership is excellent. No defects on delivery, only 4500miles but no complaints. Goodbye ford and the poor customer service.

I had the 2003 4.7 and loved it.They came out with the Hemi in the same model I had and I traded up. They both are awesome trucks.They are both similar except for performance and horsepower.My fuel mileage is better in the Hemi than the 4.7,with the bigger engine and more horses my engine isn't working as hard. I just have to get use to the pedal, truly my dream truck!!!

Ram 1500 has very sleek, eye catching design. HEMI V8 worth every penny. Plenty of speed for a durable heavy duty truck. Very smooth ride as well. Interior stylish and has no complaints from me about leg room (Im also 6'3" so leg room is important)...

this is my second dodge truck, had a 1977 dodge power wagon, am still impressed with the durability, no nonsence attitude of this model vehicle. the fit & finish is high, no rattles or vibrations. absolutely love this truck!

Being an analyst, I did a lot of research before purchasing a vehcile. The Ram ended up being the best choice. There is one drawback of this vechicle, your face will hurt for a while. If you are looking for a vehcile that will put a smile on your face, this is the one. I bought the Laramie with the 20 inch wheels and GPS system. I am surprised how high the vehicle is considering it's not a 4X4. The GPS system is nice, but I am not overly impressed with the Infinity system. For a factory system it's not bad, but I thought it might be a bit better. Also, you will be tempted to spend a lot on mods!

Strong truck easy to drive and handle. Performance 2nd to none with the hemi. Smooth shifting auto-trans, solid ride, and very capable 4X4. Interior components solid, not shaky like my Fords wiggly windows or my GM's flimsy interior parts or mushy seats. Best truck on the road for the money today!

This Ram 4WD is one fun piece of machinery. I've got the off-road group with the HEMI and the thing has exceeded my expectations with its off- road performance. Its been able to keep up with a friend's Jeep Cherokee (with a 3" lift and some fat tires) in some muddy spots. It performs well on the road as well. Love feeling that 345 horse power under my right foot. My only complaint is that the thing loves the gas as just as much as I love the beer. But I guess I knew that before I bought the thing. Still a great buy and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a bad-ass truck.

I purchased a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 RC, HEMI equipped (of course). And I have to say I've had about 15 trucks in my time and this Ram , by far, Out performs all of them in ALL areas!!

If you are looking for a GREAT truck then the Dodge Ram is PERFECT. Rides great, looks great in and out. So if you are looking for a new truck, then this is PERFECT.

I OWN A HEMI QUAD. GREAT STRONG TRUCK WITH POWER TO BURN. UNFORTUNATLEY THE FUEL ECONOMY IS POOR. IF I WERE TO BUY AGAIN, I WOULD CONSIDER THE DIESEL. OWNERS BEWARE OF DRIVERS FRONT DOOR MOLDING WHICH CHAFES AGAINST LOWER A- PILLAR DOOR EDGE, CAUSING THE MOLDING TO RIP AFTER 3 MONTHS. REAR DOORS OFFER EXCELLENT ACCESS INTO CAB. 20 INCH WHEELS ARE CLAD, PLASTIC BONDED TO ALUMINUM. PRETTY CHEESY FOR A $30K PLUS TRUCK! RADIO W/CD HAS FAIR SOUND QUALITY.

This is an exciting truck. The only bad that I have to say about it is the gas mileage; and, I don't know if there is any way around it considering how big the truck is. I can't wait until summer so I can hook by boat up to it.

This is a great truck. It is not a Nissan Titan, but the Nissan was not available in a single cab with a eight foot bed either. The Fords, in my oppinion have inconsistent build quality, no option for side airbags (though Ford designed them in, the feedback in customer clinics caused Ford to nix them), and the lack of a single cab model with full equipment. The GM designs are old, the Toyota was old and only offered a stripped down model for single cabs.
