'95 LHS Review
One major complaint about the car is that it has a lot of road noise. Noise from the front wheels into the car interior. Car rides nice, is comfortable and roomy. Numerous mechanical failures during first 90K miles. Front end, air conditioner, headlight switch problems are just a few.
Good Car
It is a big, safe, comfortable car. It also is kind of fun to drive for being big. It rides good on the highway, primarily what I use it for. Had the timing belt tensioner break off at 93,000 miles, D'OH!!! A couple weeks later and a Chrysler reman motor, it's all good. Though I don't think the motor should've gone at 93,000 miles. The new motor aside, it has been a trouble free car. I would reccomend one to anyone who wants and needs a big car.
I can't stop or see!
This big comfortable car gave me about 150,000 mostly trouble-free miles. I would have kept it longer, but I lived in a rural area where the dark little roads required bright lighting. The high beams were very wimpy, and the standard lights were effective for about 30 feet. The brakes were also inadequate for this big boat. I often smelled a burning odor going down long, winding roads. The lack of new airbag technology made this car unsafe for a family.

A car to avoid.
-Poor crash tests -Unresponsive braking -Transmission rebuilt -Transmission shudder (even after rebuild) -AC fixed, broke, fixed, still broke. -At least 5 recalls -radiator fan turns on and stays on -front hub bearing replaced -noisy passenger cabin -everything rattles -trunk lid spring broken -water leakage in trunk compartment
Best car I've owned
Bought this car for a song. Has over 230,000 miles and still going pretty well, but getting a little long in the tooth. Had the transmission rebuilt, then again under warranty. Had front tie rods & ball joints replaced, misc. other problems. A/C was great until last year, now has a leak. Overall, I've learned to live with the car's quirks & it's been very reliable. For the person who has clim. ctrl problems. Reset the climate control by putting it in test mode and it will no longer be "hot all the time" I periodically have to do this to mine. Google for info--not enough space here. Original alternator lasted till 210K miles, still on original starter. Exhaust system is orig. too.
