Used 2016 Chevrolet Volt Consumer Reviews
Not a Lexus but still great!
I like everything about this car except visibility out the back and it's not all wheel drive. The plug in feature is why I bought it. I hope to own it until Lexus comes out with a plug in.

Happy with my first Sedan/ EV
The only other car I have owned was a Ford Escape (compact SUV). Although I am sad about how little I can pack into my car (moving is going to be tough) and I feel bad for any passengers who are 6' tall or taller (there isn't much head room), I still am really happy with the change. The car rides amazing and I absolutely love that I am not buying gas. I charge it over night for it to get 46 all electric miles, the blind spot monitors and parking assist are pretty nice. Since it is a 2016 I don't get the fancy cruise control found in the 2017, or the half charge time (found in the 2019). But still, I really love this car.

Love it
This has everything that the Prius prime was missing. It’s a wonderful car that allows the eco driver a lot of flexibility in how they drive it without compromising its purpose…to be an eco friendly alternative. Chevy did right with this one. However, a couple years later, the infotainment system went quiet, taking with it the bluetooth and the radio. It's a common problem but I am still working on the solution. Be aware that the vehicle is great, but no longer in production and so, may be less familiar to some.

Named the car "Sipper"
I just transitioned from a very large crew cab Ford F250 running on 35's and a diesel engine into this little Chevy car. I can't get over how much I love this thing, which surprised me. It's not slow, the initial torque is big and smooth. The main thing is how little fuel I use. Outside of really long trips, I'm able to plug this thing at work and home and utilize only the battery for all my commutes. I like not having to worry about range anxiety because of this design, and when the gas engine is running, I'm getting over 40mpg. The cool part is that the transition from full electric to gas and electric is unnoticeable outside of the graphics on the dash. I bought the Premier version which I am glad I did for the leather and upgraded features. Chevy should have kept making this car, it is the best of both worlds (electric vs gas).

Very complex car sometime even the mechanic doesn't know how to replace or fix it. Already spent 6500 on maintenance. I do not recommend chevy volt to anyone. Customer support is very poor. Warranty issues very poor. I will never buy domestic car again after such a bad experience with the vehicle.
