Best Choice We could Have Made
We bought a Jeep back in Oct. Completely unsatisfied. Started shopping around and came across the Equinox. I wanted a car that was made in the us or has us workers for the car. I know that Chevy was most certainly the best option. I am completely satisfied and I love my car so much more than I could have ever liked the Jeep Compass.
Worst Chevy out of 3 that I've owned
After 2 years the ignition wire had to be replaced. The fuel pump went out in 5 years. 6 months later a fuel solenoid had be replaced. The dash lights fade out for no reason.

Truly a gem
Great fuel economy (worst ever had was 27.8 with bad traffic/accidents..but avg 30+). Handled great. Reliable. Comfortable to drive (big but felt snug) and plenty of room in front and back. Loved the blind spot mirror. Accelerated fine for a 4cyl.

MPG ratings not accurate
I am finding the MPG ratings to be way off. I have never even come close to the 33 MPG highway, and am averaging 21 MPG in combined city/highway driving. My driving habits are such that I try to conserve gas, but it does not seem to make a difference.
I Missed My Old Equinox
So for the past 3 years I've been driving a truck, which I went to from a 2008 Equinox. I loved it and missed it all those years. Now that I'm back in one, I have to say Chevy came a LONG way in their design. From the older models having a 'retro' feel to the 2012s which have a more modern look. I'm back in the vehicle I love.
