Spend $60K and can't open the garage door
The car is great, but someone at GM is off base. After spending $60K+, I discover that I do not have memory seats and the ability to open the garage door with homelink! The dealer forgot to tell me these things. On a trip your right foot has do where to go with the cruise control on and therefore your foot gets tried of holding it's position.

True performance machine
I got this for my wife when the lease on her BMW was up, but now I'm the one looking for any excuse to drive it. Quick, great handling! And, in this age of turbo 4s and 6s, it actually sounds like a muscle car. Yes, a Tesla will beat it off the line, and Prius will get better mileage...

Best car that I have ever owned
When I was a young lad, poor and living in Government housing. My dad had a friend who showed up in a C4 Corvette. I saw the hood pop up backwards and I was hooked. As I grew up and became an adult in the late 90s, one particular model caught my eye. It was the Grand Sport. I didn't know why. Was it the color? The strips on the hood? I don't know. What I did know is that I was going to have one of these cars. Fast forward 15 years and I finally found the one that really got me interested. It was not the perfect representation of a C7 but it had all the things I wanted. Low miles, wide body, suede interior. 1 test drive and it was the car for me. I've owned this car for about 4 years. And it is amazing. The handling, the sounds, the smells. Everything about this car is the culmination of what a Corvette should be. You can take a drive in this car anytime you want. You can take a long trip if you want. Its comfortable. It gets great gas mileage on the interstate when cruising in 7th. This is just a fun car. Does it have some panel issues? Yes. Are they noticeable? Not really. Are there some panel rattles inside? Yes. That happens sometimes. Can they be fixed? Absolutely. Sometimes the imperfections make a car perfect. And this is a car that I will keep going for as long as I can.

Comparing my C5 to my new C7
I have not driven my new Z51 LT1 coupe because Chevrolet says that you are not supposed to drive it when the temperature is below 40 degrees and I live in Minnesota so I should be able to drive it by the fourth of July. I put 9 miles on it getting it home and that is all the driving experience I have on it so far. So all I can comment on is the comfort and quality of the things used when they put the C7 together.

Base Model Daily Driver
First time Corvette owner. I absolutely love it! Great daily driver! 7th gear gets me a little over 30 mpg freeway miles. Only negative is the 'old man's car's stigma. I live in San Diego, California and there aren't too many Corvettes on the streets but the ones you see are driven by older men.
