2016 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 2dr Coupe w/3LT (6.2L 8cyl 7M)

This is like a jet cockpit compared to my 2006. At 76 it will take me awhile to learn all of it's tech. options. I have had young, old, male, and female give me the thumbs up. She is white with red and black interior. best MPG in a 25 mile section jumped from 34.5 to 36.1. The complaints I have are: radio reception,worst I have ever had, The leather dash shrunk and pulled up. It was past warr. by a month or so. They would only give me $1100. toward a 2500. repair. Never sitting in the passenger seat I never noticed it. It took three visits to get the torque converter issue corrected. This is a 3LT interior. Are these common flaws?

It is an excellent car with it's 8 speed automatic; a lot of fun to drive. When the summer run flat tires wear out in 15,000 miles you can put on a set of all season non run flats. It will be much quieter, smoother riding and have better wet weather traction. You will give up some performance traction. When driven normally it will get surprisingly good mileage up to 33 mpg on the hwy.

This is my third Corvette purchase. I had two C5's, a 98 Coupe and 99 Convertible, and I still have the C5 Coupe. The evolution in Corvette styling did not appeal to me at first. However it took a couple of years for the C7 to grow on me, now I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I still love the C5 for the car that it is, and the C7 for the car it became. My only personal drawback (this is obviously a reflection of my age) is the extensive use of electronics on the newer Corvette. Guess that this could be interpreted as: I am flawed, the C7 is perfect. Our technically dependent society says so. :-) Two years later, still have the same feelings and still enjoy the C7!! For a while, I added the 6th Gen Camaro SS and enjoyed driving both equally. Now at my ripe old age of retirement, I'm daily driving an MB E550 as my daily driver, but, my Corvette is definitely my PLEASURE car. To this date, I've had no issues with this car. Recalls were handled quickly and efficiently. I am quite fastidious regarding routine maintenance and service the car at a minimum twice a year (oil - alignment, etc) and because the car is a 7 speed, this one is a keeper! Update August 2020 (Year of change-COVID and a new home). We moved - both my wife and I had our “must haves” (mine was a 3 car garage- she wanted other stuff) for the new place. We now live in a Southern California beach city and I’m enjoying my C7 even more. It is still not complicated to dive, routine maintenance is not an event. I’m a 5 minute drive through some beautiful rolling hills which are a great for a leisurely drive further south with a return home via the pacific coast highway. (To repeat myself - this one is a keeper).

Here it is people a super car that is simply awesome. The looks of the vert with the top down is stunning. The performance is world class. The quality of fit and finish will satisfy the most discerning consumer. You cant go wrong. Enjoy

I have had 13 corvettes but this one is amazing. There is one drawback. This year model does not have the safety feature where it tells you if someone is your in your blind spot in your mirrors. I had my car in for service and had a rental Cruze which had those mirrors and it was amazing. Wish this year had the safety mirrors very disappointed that it doesn’t have it. Very hard to see and judge sometimes because in the convertible the rear window is very very small and you can’t see much out of that window so those would be very helpful. Otherwise, I love my car just for safety reasons wish they had those mirrors. The front and back camera are awesome though. The convertible is incredible It takes no time to go down. I am soooooooooo glad I bought the convertible. It was so worth the extra money to have it. U can put it down in a minute which comes in handy at a Light. This car is so much fun.
