Cheapest Horsepower You Can Possible Buy
It's an old 90s styled car built by GM. What did you expect? Luxury and comfort certainly aren't the highlights of the car. If you're like me then you bought this car for one thing and one thing only....SPEED! The 5.7L LS1 is one of the best engine platforms to date and still holds its own against the cars of today. For $12,000 or less you could buy a used F-body Camaro and have more than enough horsepower to smoke half the cars on the road. It has tremendous horsepower potential with a cheap budget and an unbelievably large amount of aftermarket support. It makes a great daily driver and the gas cost isn't astronomical as most would like to believe (just remember you can only use 91/93 octane due to high compression ratio). Overall it's a cheap, fast, and fun car that won't let you down.

Nice sports car...dispicable interior
While my '01 camaro is quick and gets me attention, the interior is dispicable...at best. Everything from the seats to the cupholders are poorly designed and made of cheap, breakable plastic. My '99 chrysler sebring convertible interior was far superior to my camaro's inside. I am considering downtrading to a 2000 sebring convertible because of the less-than-acceptable interior design

Nice while it lasted
Was fun to take the t-tops off and drive around, and got pretty good fuel mileage. Had to keep replacing the passenger side turn bulb because the bulbs kept melting. Had to hand wash it because if I went through the automatic car wash, water would always come in.
Surprised and very happy
I wanted a convertible. I looked at the Sebring, SAAB, some Toyota (I forgot what) and the Mustang. Of all the cars I checked, the Mustang impressed me the most but was not the same fun car as my '67. One cold snowy winter day I saw an 01 Camaro on the used car lot. I took it for a ride and never bought a car so fast. Buying a used high performance convertible is not the safest buy. I bought the extended warranty realizing I was buying a car that may have been previously purchased for speed. It has been great. Did not need the extended warranty. Love the car. I hate to drive it in the winter because it is so attractive. I never want anything to hurt its appearance. Love it a lot
Camaro SS
I sold my mustang and brought a 2001 Camaro SS 6spd in 2003, and its one of the best buys that I've made. It's very fast, and looks and sounds fantastic. Bang for the buck, its the best thing going!
