My wife and l love the Bolt. We had 2 Volts before this car. We commute 50 miles a day and have to drive the same for shopping. This car exceeded its published range by over 30 miles when driven home over 160 miles cruising 70-75 with A/C on. It still showed over 120 available. Lots of space and features, a very roomy car, super quiet and quick in traffic.

Compact, quiet, & easy to drive.
This is my first EV. I am a senior who needed a small, mainly city-driven, car for errands and short trips. Have only been driving it for a few weeks and like the feel and ease of its performance but HATE, HATE, HATE not having a traditional gear shift or parking brake. These tabs / buttons on the console are a huge nuisance. You have to literally look down every time you want to change gears. This is especially annoying when you are trying to shimmy into a parking space that might require several changes of direction. With a stick shift, you could 'feel' what gear you're in without looking down. I'm sure many manufacturers are following suite with all these unnecessary changes in technology so their latest models will look 'cool' and inventive. If it ain't broke -- don't fix it!

Bolt owner for 25 months
My wife and I think this car is great. Yes, it took GM too long to resolve the battery issue, but frankly the loss of range by charging up to 80% of battery capacity would not affect us except on very long trips. We love the regenerative braking and the relatively simple controls. The vehicle handles well enough and we have found a level 2 charger at home is no hassle and a great money saver. The seats are quite comfortable. We also have a 2019 Prius Prime (plug in hybrid). We substantially prefer our Bolt.

The Bolt is amazing
We've been wanting to get this car since it came out, and did thanks to the new $7500 Inflation Reduction Act subsidies. Great 259-mile range for a car of its type, great acceleration, handling and safety features, union made in the USA. No $5 a gallon gas that's fueling our climate disasters. Friends who've bought it have loved it and we've loved riding in the car with them. It's just a fantastic vehicle and so glad that Chevy will continue it's production because it's becoming the affordable alternative EV and deservedly so.

blue beauty
perfect commute car. Reliable, nice ride, good pick up, and good technology. I live in cold and that is a draw back.
