Used 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche Consumer Reviews
Good Vehicle
So far, so good. No major issues and only a couple of minor ones. The Goodyear tires don't do it justice. Been through a couple already. Passenger tires on an off-road machine?
No Avalanche to fear here
My wife and I like this vehicle so much that we are planning on trading our venture van in on a second avalanche. This has got to be the ultimate pic-up passenger combo ever built. I dont impress easily, but this truck is it.

Chev avalanche
this truck has been used to transport furniture, tow a boat and move people, it has done all exceptionally well. It is comfortable to ride in and drive, in fact it rides very well for a truck.
Truck with the comfort of a car
This truck has all the comfort of a car with the durability of a truck. Bought with the intent to pull a boat. Plenty of cab room for a large family with plenty of room for storage and luggage. Great vehicle. Very impressed. Although gas prices have made it costly to fill, worth the comfort.
Best vehicle I ever owned
I have owned forty new vehicles in the last thirty-seven years and this one has the power, 8.1 (496) engine with 37.5 gas tank and 3.73 rear end to give me about fifteen MPG. Since 1976 when they made cars smaller and I am a large person, the Avalanche has the right fit and ride.
