Used 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche Consumer Reviews
2002 Avalanche
Outstanding vehicle for family or the man or woman of the house....Has comforts of a 5 passenger car and the convenience of a truck. Load the back with what you need to haul, the handling is outstanding. The auto climate control is a feature that is nice, keeps your temp inside very confortable
This was built for me.
This is absolutely the best vehicle I have ever owned. I convert it to a PU at least 3-4 times per week. Smooth, powerful, versatle, quiet, tight, luxurious, it just could not be any better.

Wears poorly with time.
AV is a good idea for those looking for room, ride and the benefits of a truck. Unfortunately, like most GM products, this truck doesn't age well. After two years and 36k, problems are starting to pop up on a regular basis. The truck is babied and serviced regularly, but exhaust baffles just went, steering coupler seized up, ABS sensor died etc. The good deals on new Avalanches mean huge depreciation for used units. Buyer beware, buy one to run to the grouond, not for just 3 or 4 years or epect to take a huge hit. Good for a few years or low mileage users, but I fear how long this truck will hold up.
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!!!!
I bought the first z71 I could find in Nashville. I have loved this thing ever since I saw it in motortrend a couple years ago. I've got 35000 miles on my truck and have had a couple of rattles in the suspension that had to be fixed, but this truck is the greatest thing on 4 wheels. An engineering masterpiece!! A+++++++++
Good Vehicle
So far, so good. No major issues and only a couple of minor ones. The Goodyear tires don't do it justice. Been through a couple already. Passenger tires on an off-road machine?
