Used 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche Consumer Reviews
Limited rear vision lines
Visibility needs to be learned in this vehicle, directly behind is limited due to height of tailgate and bedcover. Some kind of rear mirror would be great. Vehicle is comfortable to travel in and drive. Even works as a pickup. The change is easy for transporting unexpected purchases .
Love this truck!
Very fun truck. VERY practical truck. My wife drives it all over town haulling kids during the week. And on the weekend I drive it hauling concrete block and wallboard!!!

Versatility and Comfort
Gas prices aside, the 327 cid avalanche tows great, hauls great, and looks great. This vehicle is the real hybrid. Some ongoing issues with the A/C remain but not a significant negative as yet.
Innovative Truck
I have the luxury of driving nearly every model of truck by the three major American truck makers where I work. Based on my experience with work trucks I decided to buy a Chevrolet or Dodge. Then I decided to buy an Avalanche after test driving some. Chevrolet can't be beat for on road driving and overall family features. Innovative engineering makes this a remarkable truck - my family can use it for anything.
Avalanche Review (Big red beast)
Poor rearview.
