New Xts Driver

2013 Cadillac XTS Premium 4dr Sedan (3.6L 6cyl 6A)

I leased a new xts with the premium trim pkg today in black on black and what a gorgeous car it is

Best Features

My favorite features is the smooth running powerful engine and the ride quality is just right not to soft and not to rough its a perfect balance. The cue system is pretty is a nice set up but will take getting use to

Worst Features

The only gripe i have so far is gm on there premium cars should get away from making the cars horn sound when locking the car with the key fob. They should change that cheap sound to a cool audible one like even found on a camry. That cheap horn sound should not be on a 50 to 60 k car

I have 9100 gentle miles on my xts and let me say what a disappointment this car is. The suspension is harsh going over bumps and that harshness comes into the cabin and there is to much tire noise. The oem goodyears are horrible for this car. When I test drove this car it was quiet riding and cushy. As miles accumulated on her. it rides terrible. I have complained to my dealer and they replaced the rear struts. Still harsh ridng

Now I have 7500 miles on her the excitement of this car has gone a bit sour. The ride quality has gotten jittery at times and my caddy has been to the dealer for wheel alignments twice because of the steering not rite. Sometime the car rides like a dream and other times she drives like she is loaded with concrete blocks dragging on and there is annoying tire noise. Anyone else having these issues with there xts ?

Ok for about a month now I have been driving my xts with the new Michelin primacy's on her and the only thing that did was get rid of the horrible road noise coming in to the cabin. The suspension on this car is a mess. Its like there is no dampening at all. When going over small bumps and such my xts crahes down instead of absorbing bumps like a premium car should never the less Cadillac's flagship car. Cadillac replaced the rear struts and still very harsh riding vehicle. I understand the xts is not designed to ride like a float box like the dts was but still. The ride and handling on my xts is terrible. There is no ride comfort to this car at all. It rides like a car that's is 10 years old with 100.000 miles on her for which she is only a year old with 11.000 gentle miles on her

I now have almost 15.000 gentle miles on my xts premium and this car is a very huge disappointment. The ride and handling is terrible. The suspension is harsh when going over bumps and the ride is noisy. This car has no premium ride feel to it at all. I have been in way less expensive average family sedans that have a better ride and handling than my 2013 xts does. Its like the only good thing about this car is the styling and led exterior lighting that's it. I'm looking forward to this mess of a car goes off lease for I can get out of it...Big disappointment !

Did anyone look at the Magnetic Ride Control system? That car should FLOAT over bumps!
