2023 CT5 V Not Your Grandpas Caddy
Outstanding style and visual cues I have received a lot of complements since purchasing. Very comfortable interior with easy to use and read displays. Lot of power and performance with seamless transmission. At 6’5 only consistent complaint is telescoping steering wheel should have more range, and rear view mirror as well. In a sea of BMW, Audi and Mercedes this stands out and holds its ground. A very nice place to be. Very fun to drive and when you want to dance it responds and puts a smile on your face every time.

The Best Car We’ve Ever Owned
My wife’s first remarks after I announced the purchase of the CT5-V was “oh no, we’re not buying an old man’s car, are we?” That all changed after picking up the car and she drove home. “This is the best car we’ve ever owned!” Was repeated 3 times in the drive from London to Guelph. The car is unbelievably comfortable. It’s beautiful too. And before I forget to mention, it’s a blast to drive. While we do find the back seat a little tight for some people to get into, we really don’t care because we don’t pile people into the back more than a few times a year. The handling is superb. Point the car where you want to go and hit the gas as hard as you’d like. The traction control keeps you in your line no matter what the road conditions. We’ve had several cars over the years, including Mercedes and Saab. This one makes them all look like entry level cars. One thing we recommend, upgrade the interior package. It’s a cheap enough upgrade and worth every penny. This upgrade allows the V to compete against much more expensive cars like the Merc E and BMW 5.

Love my new 2023 Cadillac CT5 Sport
I am absolutely in love with this car. I had two BMW's prior to this vehicle, both used when purchased. I had been researching the CT5 and made the decision to lease a new one. I am so happy I did. The styling is outstanding. I am very happy with the performance, the attention to details, technology, interior fit and quality, etc., etc., etc. It certainly measures up to my perception of cadillac. Wish I would have looked at Cadillac sooner. By the way, the sport mode in this car.... Awesome!!

Best Value for a luxury sedan
It is interesting how many compliments I receive even from teenagers and young adults! They love the body style and Garnett color as well. I love the ride, the quietness, the sound system and the interior is simple yet elegant! I read some of the car company reviews saying it lack luster for the interior. I beg to argue. I even have the smaller engine and it has plenty of power. It has been a great vehicle.
I try other cars but always come back to Cadillac
I bought a 22 Subaturd Outback Wilderness loaded up. Worst car ever so dealer bought back and I went straight to their Cadillac dealership. They had just gotten in a 2023 CT5 Premium Luxury with the 3.0 6 Cyl twin turbo with only 1800 miles. He decided he wanted an Escalade instead. His loss was my gain. I love this car. Had a 2016 CTS Premium with the 3.6. Love this one just as much. They drive great. The handling is amazing, and I like you can get the back in out when you want. Brakes are very good, and I am getting 20 in town and 30 on the highway. Service is amazing as usual with Cadillac. I had a minor recall, and they came to my home picked the car up and left me a loaner. Fixed it, washed it, filled it with gas and it was back within 3 hours. I am a car nut and a Caddy lover.

CT5V Great sport sedan that is fun to drive
The styling is also outstanding - I get plenty of compliments on it. Mine has the upgraded interior and I am very pleased. The orange stitching also matches my orange metallic paint job. The car handles very good, especially on a twisting road. I find the twin turbo V-6 with 10 speed has ample acceleration and I also get decent mileage. And it has a nice exhaust note when accelerating. Lots of performance settings similar to my C8 Corvette that are easy to adjust. The CT5V is also a bargain when compared to the European competition and will cost less to maintain.

Do not buy
Cadillac has known for five years, continuing through the 2025 model that the $3500 V6 will idle so roughly, that black smoke will come out and the engine will backfire until the catalytic converter warms up. They have secret service bulletin that says this is “normal” and “ no repairs are necessary. The engine shake so much you teeth will rattle. I’ve never seen anything so preposterous and the XT4 V6 is not like this. You’ll be very very sorry

Starter took a crap!
Three month old 2023 CT5, Premium Luxury Twin Turbo beauty after only 3 months and 1400 miles took a dump! Wouldn't start just kept winding up with sound and no ignition! Thankfully it's a lease and now they're problem.

Great car, just moved to Illinois from Florida and needed an AWD vehicle. Was tired of driving SUVs and wanted a sedan before they are gone. This Cadilac compared to a BMW and Mercedes at a better price. I love the car.

Great Car Except For…
Great car so far with 40,000 kms on the clock. It’s a little difficult to exit but a comfortable ride nonetheless. That 4 cyl sound though, just can’t seem to get used to it coming from a V-8. Gas mileage is exceptional and build quality won’t disappoint.

CT5 caddie
I got my car in mid December of 23. My car had 3 miles on the odometer when I picked it up. It now has close to 10,000. My previous car was a 2018 ATS which I loved. I has trouble choosing between the CT 4 and CT 5. With my grandchildren getting older, I needed more room. I have not had any problems out of this car. Since it's heavier with less horsepower than the ATS, there is no comparison between the 2. The ARS felt much quicker and handled better. Overall I like the comfort and stability of the CT 5 on long trips. The electronics are great as well. I also think the car is beautiful inside and out. The seats are very supportive but would prefer leather, especially from a luxury car. Overall, great car.

Surprisingly confident
First Gm vehicle in decades and thankfully an unapologetic success on all levels Build quality on the interior and exterior are great along with an elegant design with quality materials. The stance is spot on with ( about time) wheel openings filled properly. A few 4-8 hr trips left us comfortable and entertained in a cabin of comfort with fuel economy that really surprised. We purchased the 2024 because we didn’t want a wrap around screen for a dashboard the 2025 has even though that seems were the industry is going. Overall we will definitely look forward to considering another Cadillac SUV next year for our ev considering our CT5 is such a wonderful vehicle.

Electric water pump
Purchased a 2024. CT5 in February24. Everything seemed fine until my electric water pump went bad at 2800 miles. Now I’m wondering how reliable this car is.

Best Cadillac yet
Love everything so far! Styling, instrumentation, performance and comfort. Interior quality is excellent and it has all the options you'd expect in a luxury sedan. The only opportunity to improve would be the dashboard. Tach/speedometer are kind of plain but that doesn't change my overall satisfaction with the car. Great job Cadillac engineers!

Terrible car
We received a 2024 Cadillac Ct5 35t as a rental for a week long trip. This vehicle was thoroughly disappointing. Nothing about the vehicle evoked luxury. Tire drum on the highway was horrendous. The 2 liter turbo was anemic and nowhere near the performance of similar engines from BMW Audi or even Acura. I also felt the brakes were weak. When parallel parking, the entire driver's seat vibrated for no apparent reason- I assume it was to warn I was approaching another car but it was oversensitive and obnoxious. A simple chime is all it takes! The gear shifter also was silly- you had awkwardly press and hold this button on the left to advance from reverse to drive. My passenger complained about the seat belt nearly suffocating him. Simply put, there was not one compelling thing about the vehicle. You would have to be crazy to purchase a CT5 over the vehicles it purports to compete with. A Honda Accord is as luxurious and likely far more reliable.

Great car!
As the little brother to the Blackwing, this car does not lack for power. When I've needed to put my foot on the gas, this beast takes off. It's DEFINITELY not your parent's Cadillac!

LOVE THIS CAR - Just fun to drive!
I got a premium luxury with the 3.0 liter turbo in crystal white with maple interior. This car is just fun to drive - although it’s the smallest car I have ever had it has plenty of room and comfort for my 6,3” frame. My last car was a 2019 Cadillac ct6, which I dearly loved. This car has numerous driver assist items that the ct6 did not have and an incredible sound system and infotainment package. Of the t7 cars I have owned in my lifetime - this is my favorite.

A comfortable sports car that holds 4 adults
Very responsive engine and transmission. Reasonable price and maintenance relative to European rivals. Very comfortable ride with the ability to tune engine sound, steering, transmission and braking responsiveness.
The V is fine with me!
I am impressed with my 2025 CT5-V AWD. Fit and finish is excellent. Love the updated interior. Performance and handling great! This is my first Cadillac. Having owned Mercedes and BMW, the Cadillac more than holds its own!

CT5 V All around Review
I've had my CT5 V for almost 3 years. No complaints whatsoever. These cars are very quick and can turn and stop on a dime. When you want to break away from the crowd on the road it has no problem showing who's boss and he rest is history 😉
