The Best Car We’ve Ever Owned
5 out of 5 stars
Chris B, 11/25/2023
2023 Cadillac CT5 V 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl Turbo 10A)
My wife’s first remarks after I announced the purchase of the CT5-V was “oh no, we’re not buying an old man’s car, are we?” That all changed after picking up the car and she drove home. “This is the best car we’ve ever owned!” Was repeated 3 times in the drive from London to Guelph. The car is unbelievably comfortable. It’s beautiful too. And before I forget to mention, it’s a blast to … drive. While we do find the back seat a little tight for some people to get into, we really don’t care because we don’t pile people into the back more than a few times a year. The handling is superb. Point the car where you want to go and hit the gas as hard as you’d like. The traction control keeps you in your line no matter what the road conditions. We’ve had several cars over the years, including Mercedes and Saab. This one makes them all look like entry level cars. One thing we recommend, upgrade the interior package. It’s a cheap enough upgrade and worth every penny. This upgrade allows the V to compete against much more expensive cars like the Merc E and BMW 5.
