Love the cars body, hate under the hood

Bought my car used but still with warranty and certified preowned. Had to use the warranty several times to replace many things. Had some problems with the brakes, o2 sensors, lights. Never got the lights resolved. Every time I took it in they said it was fixed but it still reads that I have lights out. Since my warranty expired I have had it brake down on me twice in one month and had to have a huge list of things fixed with a price tag of $2,000 from my friends shop. Which means at any other shop I would never have been able to fix it. Currently it is leaking oil and decides to act up while driving almost daily. The beauty of this cars style is not worth the problems under the hood!

They sure nailed it when they came up witht that slogan years back. I was lucky enough to snag a 2004 convertible in late summer and what a car it is! The steering is incredible with a nice heavy secure feel as you are cruising about. I was also amazed at the turning radius, the wheels can cut so far compared to past vehicles. The styling is flat out gorgeous, something about the grill and headlights on a Beemer, definitely a head turner. The top drops in 20 seconds at the push of a button and tucks cleanly away. The interior is laid out well and is comfortable (in the front seat anyway) This car is truly the ultimate!

I just recieved my 325Ci a few weeks ago, and I just can't wait for the weekends to arrive so I can hit the open road. I'm stationed in Spain with the Navy, so I enjoy plenty of different road types to drive on, from twisty, winding scenic country roads to the high speed toll roads. The car handles beautifully. It's comfortable and the climate control, stereo, and window controls are easy to reach. The interior lighting is fantastic as well.

Avoid this whole series. I had a 1998 328i which never had a problem....the new models are total junk. So far in 10 months I have a new CPU, new fuel pump, new relays, new alternator, 2 new batteries, a new AC compressor, and a new sunroof housing. This car has left me stranded on 4 occasions (once while I was driving it back from the dealer). Car is fun to drive, though....when it works.

Vehicle currently has 5281 miles on it, It has been flat bedded back to the dealer ship 4 times so far, it is the most unreliable "new" car that I have ever owned, problems consisted of the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) and the charging system (Alternator). When the warranty runs out its gone.

My car: 02 325i, 5 spd, Prem & sports package, xenons, Harmon Kardon stereo, Titanium silver with black leather. I absolutely love driving this car. If someone would have told me that this car with 184 hp was this quick, I would have laughed. You just have to get out and drive one of these cars. It performs so well that the instant I drove it, I wanted it. This is one of the smoothest driving cars I have ever driven. The only thing I wish I had was more money to get the 330i, I didnt even go test drive it because the salesman told me it would throw you in the back of your chair, and I knew I would have to have it.

Without a doubt, the most fun car to drive. It handles extremely well on all types of roads and traffic. Its built like a rock with no squeeks or rattles to be found anywhere. It takes curves without any sway or loss of control( at higher speeds ).I find it to be a perfect blend of balance, performance and road handling.

The look is absolutely fantastic. I was looking at the Infiniti G35 but the nose could be any car. This car is distinctive in its styling. I'm obsessed with keeping it clean and nick free. Installed an invisible bra to keep front end damage to a minimum. I couldn't be happier with the interior and exterior look and feel.

Test drove a 2003 A4 3.0L Quattro and did not like the "loose" steering relative to the 325xi. The AWD version will not oversteer when compared to RWD BMW's. BMW just has more road feel than any other car we test drove. Backseats are a little cramped, but the performance, safety, and 4yr full- maintenance warranty sold us. We love the car and will probably always keep a BMW in the family for years to come.

I have owned this 2003 330Ci since new. Used the BMW Euro Delivery program. Car has been very reliable. Issues? Sunroof, ignition coils replaced under warranty. Otherwise nothing, but I am a fairly conservative driver, and don't drive it hard other than the 600 miles on the autobahn at 90-120 mph when car was new. I routinely obtain 27-30 mpg (5 speed manual, 80% freeway driving with a light foot). Great car and I likely will buy another soon.

I have a bmw 330xi with automatic transmission, navigation system, and heated seats. it cost me $2,600 down, and 496.00 a month. everything about this car is perfect. performance is very good, although for a $40,000 car it would be nice if it came with around 300hp rather than 225. the car doesnt have a lot of room, but it can carry 4 people very comfortably. drives excellent in all weather.

Well I got my 330ci coupe in febuary 2003, it is silver wil the 18 inch stock bmw rims, i also put a win on it to give it that sporty look , pluse i tinted the windows. . And it it is a big step up from a Toyata truck lol. Since this is my first BMW it has tacken a while to get used to. But all in all I love it. rides great , corners like a champ. I have had the bmw now for about 6 months and I like it more by the day. I kinda was getting a feel for it at first, now I am really starting to see whAt this car can do. And living in Los Angeles its always a plus to be seen in Beemer.

Enjoyed the car but hit a big pothole at 10,000 miles and car was never the same. Shaky front end and rattles emerged. Backseat is totally useless and very difficult to get into or out of. Lacked room for storage of items such as CD's, sunglasses, etc. Bascially too expensive for what you get. Didn't feel I got value for my money and wouldn't buy another BMW.

Never paying much attention to the brand market position this is my 5th new BMW and 3rd consecutive annual purchase after 01 330cic and last year's 325i wagon. Never have I encountered better ergonomics, more than edequate performance and elegant rather than fashion-driven design. Resale value is excellent, dealer support can be a guideline to other makers. European delivery is a logistical breeze and how and why would you pick up a car in Tokyo? I buy a new one every year.

For those seeking performance, comfort, and an all around superlative experience, consider the BMW 330xi. I just took delivery of mine in Europe and the 330xi has so much power that opting for the xi (AWD) model is one of the best decisions you could ever make! Not only does it sport the BMW performance, quick acceleration, awesome handling, the added AWD weight is not noticed, while the traction is unmatched. I found some ice in a parking lot in Switzerland and TRIED to spin it out and COULD NOT do it! You won't go wrong with this car!

I’ve had it for 1.5 years now and obsession doesn’t stop (just ask my wife). Now that I am approaching my 40's (whew!) and have a wife, couple of kids, etc. I decided to buy a car of my dreams, a BMW 3-ser convertible. So, when the time was right I went ahead and purchased a beautiful E46 325Ci Convertible with sport package, premium package, cold weather package, and 5-speed. It does everything very well. It is a joy to drive and I still wake up in the morning with the thought that I am going to drive it and leave work looking forward to hugging corners on the way home.

I bought this car in July of 2007 and I have enjoyed this car more than any other car I have ever owned. It handles and holds the road beautifully. It feels like it has more power than it actually does and looks beautiful. For the mileage and how hard I drive this car it holds up extremely well. I have had a few minor issues with it but most of it has been covered under the Certified Pre-Owned Warranty. I have only spent $202.00 out of pocket to fix the car. I bought it with 39,000 miles and it has 43,000 on it now. I recommend only buying a BMW from a BMW dealer because of the great warranty. Buy it from another dealer and spend more money! I will never own anything but a BMW!

I have a '99 323i and have loved it enough to want to get another one. It surprises me reading about some of the bad experiences - mainly service-wise. Sharpe has been so good with the little things that I have no doubt they would handle larger problems well. They've been the best car dealer that I have ever worked with. This has been my 3rd 3 series, and buying a 4th has been an easy decision. Research your local dealer, and hopefully you will find one comparable to Sharpe. I think that the few bad experiences detailed here are the exception and not the rule.

They need to learn how take care of the people who buy them otherwise they will get customers like me who will never buy another one and will go to Lexus for there next car. Word of advise.. DO NOT go to BMW of the Hudson Valley in NY if you want to get treated right..
