very impressed
Have to admit I was impressed with the new Audi A4. At first I was skeptical because the older Audi A4, though very recognized all-around, didn't appeal to me. But the new one was really cool. It is a lot more spacious, same as 3 series and C-class. Car was quick on the road, handles bumps and corners like nothing I have seen. Interior is absolutely first rate. BMW should learn from Audi's interior. If you like to ride in luxury without sacrificing personality and having to settle with Rexus blandness and fake luxury, then Audi is the answer.
Maintenance Nightmare
Expect to spend a lot of time at the repair shop if you buy this car.

A4
Some cars feel like luxury while some don't regardless what each is advertised to be. I personally like to sit in one and figure it out for myself. Now sit in an A4 and you'll be surprised that you only need to pay below 30k for it. The door shuts with a heavy "chug", sometimes I would find myself closing it a few times just because the first time didn't shut it completely (my old car was a Lexus, light doors).
Wicked Awesome Car!!!
I've had the A4 1.8T 5M for two weeks and I'm very happy with it. My first car and my first Audi. It handles really well and is great to look at. I can't wait till the snow falls to really put the Quattro to good use. The standard safety features are plentiful and the trunk space is generous. My main disappointment is the alarm...it's just a beeping noise that sounds like a truck backing up. I'm not convinced that it will deter a thief. The red console lighting is rather bothersome. Blue would be better, like in VW's.
Buyer Beware
This Audi is a nightmare. I had a 1999 2.8Q, it was a great car. I wish I had it back. This car has spent a cumlative 2.5 months at the dealer since Dec. 02.A brief list of mechanical issues, ignition coil, 3 Clutches, 2 windshield wiper motors,a incredibly squeaky drivers seat, trunk latch failing while vehicle was being driven, twice. malfunctioning factory cd changer. Audi customer service is non-existent and rude. The car broke down out of state and the local dealer refused to fix it, because they didnt sell the car. I had to pay several hundred dollars in tow charges. Audi refuses to reimburse any of those or rent a car charges. Run away from this car!
