Used 2017 Acura TLX Consumer Reviews
Careful what you wish for
I've owned the TLX technology, the navigation is not the greatest it had me turned around a few times , every once in awhile the volume on the stereo would automatically get louder to its highest level and vibrant the car I would take the car in to Acura to find out the problem , only to find out we can't find out the problem, but I was told the next time it happens bring it back in. This was the 2nd time it happened and the 2nd time I brought it in . The paint does not do well on the road with other cars .

Exceptional Ride
I purchased the TLX in 2018. It was a year old and in excellent condition. I have been driving the TLX for almost 7 years. I have 89000 miles on it with absolutely no problems. Other than routine maintenance I have purchased a set of tires. It is a very quiet on the road with an exceptional music system. On the highway I can get, average, 36 mpg. Outstanding! The finish, outside and inside, is still in excellent condition. I did test the safety at high speeds. The ride and handling are more perfect than you would expect. Acura knows how to build one of the best vehicles on the highway. I would buy another .... some day.

Decent car but would not recommend
Bought my Acura in 2020 and drove it for 3 years with little to no issues. Took it for an oil change recently and two separate leaks were discovered. Not happy about having to pay over $1500 for this, when my car is really only at 55,000 miles. Was planning on buying an RDX as my next car, but after having issues fairly early on, will not be purchasing another Acura sadly.
Great car, great fuel economy, great look
No rod bearing recall issue with the 2017 2.4L FWD Acura so far. Fast response when you set it to Sport+ mode or you can have a smoother drive when you set it to econ mode. The car accelerates pretty fast and is very nimble - it's very easy to accelerate above the speed limit without realizing it. Only issue I've noticed is the car sometimes 'jumps' when you turn on sport+ mode because the acceleration becomes more sensitive. Fuel economy I'm getting 700-800km per full gas tank (Current gas prices are about $1.80/L for premium gas, about $85 for a full gas tank) on the normal mode, probably more if i set it to econ mode. I'm doing 70% highway 30% city driving (but the highway in Toronto is more like a parking lot so there's a lot of stops) Hoping this lasts up to 300k km like my previous Acura.

Under Rated
THe 2017 TLX V6 is definitely a great car. Driven other cars in the same class and no other car comes close to the performance. Out performs the 3 series and C300. Drives smooth on the fwy, anyone from South California that has driven on the 710 knows how bumpy the drive can be but TLX handles the fwy with no problem. I got the TLX V6 with the Tech package. If you're looking for a great deal and near West Covina go see Jessica Rosas at Thomas Acura
