Used 2005 Acura TL Consumer Reviews
Lot of car for the money
Have only had the car for 3 weeks but am very impressed with all aspects so far. Before buying my TL I considered the Toyota Avalon (very tempting), the Infiniti G35, and the Lexus ES. For the price the TL offered more features as standard equipment than the others. I find it hard to understand some reviews that I read which were very critical of the quality, ride, etc. I hope my favorable impression does not change in the future.

Good Value
I decided to go back to the Honda line of cars, felt they were a better value than others. I am coming from a 99 Lexus ES 300, loved the car, but wanted something a little sportier. It took a little while to get used to the stiffer ride, but I have now adjusted and am having a great experience. I test drove the MB E320 before this car, and better sense came over me. Give me the TL and $20K cash any day. The Acura has a tight feel and great 'get up and go'. I feel it is one of the better looking cars on the market, and the upkeep should be more cost effective than the other brands. Looking forward to many years with this car.
Best car owned so far!
Only one thing bad is the turning! And original tires are bad too.
Rattling Sound
Bought a new 2005 TL. Love the power, sound, responsiveness. Only 1800 miles, and dealership cannot fix rattling sound. Now dealing with Acura's Customer Representative, dead-end there. Tells me its a known problem with this model. I got a lemon.
