Reading through these messages I realized the 2006 GS 300/430 pricing is now a mute issue because it's been heavily impacted by the new 2007 GS 350. Why? You buy this luxury car for performance, quality and residual value. Well Lexus, in a complete brain cramp, released the new GS350, with 22% more HP, for the same price as the old GS300. The consensus on these boards is that the GS350 will debut in the fall (if not earlier). Salesmen tell you 18 months or more because they want to sell what they've got. An old story. Here's the reasoning. Lexus cannot keep the 3.0 V-6 in the GS for long while the cheaper IS and ES have the 350, as well as in the much cheaper Camry and the Avalon. They did ... Read More

On the topic of satellite radio antennas, Lexus will soon start routing the satellite radio connection through a shark fin antenna mounted on back of the car's roof, which the GS in Japan already has (this can be seen at www.lexus.jp).
