My wife won our 2000 Land Rover
Discovery. My father drove a Land
Rover in Western Colorado in the
1960's; never thought I'd own one - had
been driving sports cars, but this
vehicle is great: stopped me from being
a lead foot. No major quality
problems, 28k miles in three years,
dealer is great, maintenance prices are
reasonable for an upscale vehicle.
I love the cargo space and the interior
room. I also like the "stadium
seating" in the rear (rear seats sit up
higher than the front). Lots of head
room for tall people; I'm 6'2"
Could use a little more leg room in the
back seats (second row). Outside design
is boxy, but I like it more each year;
kind of funky.
