Okay, I'm getting sick about now. Just bought a 2002 Rodeo Sport 2 door yesterday. I wish i'd seen this board before. From what i am reading the 2 doors are not part of the recall? I have seen them selling them at dealerships in the Dayton Oh area for $5000-9000. How can this be? I guess first thing in the morning I will have to crawl under this possible lemon ... Read More

Also sometime it takes a jump and the paper clip trick to get it to start. The battery checked out good and I put a new starter on. Please help! ... Read More

Well we change every 5 months or 5 thousands miles regularly and that has always been fine. Sometimes I go with the miles rather than the time especially since we travel (we are in the military and sometimes the car sits for a while). This last time we had it changed the end of January. We were out of town for 3 months where my brother started the card and drove ... Read More

Always kept on the maintenance schedule only put 20,000 miles on it in almost 4 years. Today, drove it to work, hear some scraping and knocking in the engine out of nowhere, drove ... Read More
Hello. New member here. I have a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo Sport (58K miles). Recently I noticed the truck had a hard time shhifting up from 1st gear. The RPMs would spike up and then it would run just fine. The other night the trans light kept blinking. When i went to take it to the shop the next day I found that it would go on drive, but it won't move ... Read More

Willie340, in regards to your post about the dealership with no new rodeo's/isuzu's in stock - I see what you mean. There is a large isuzu dealership a few miles from my house that typically stocks around 100+ isuzu's at a time. They still have about 20+ 2002 rodeos, a few 2002 rodeo sports and only 3 or 4, 2003 rodeo's so far. Joel
