This is my third Honda, and all have been amazingly reliable. Not all of them have been fun to drive, however. My new Si takes the fun level off the scale compared to most other Hondas. Are there faster cars? Yes. Are there better handling cars? Yes. Can you get any of these other cars for under $19,200? No chance. The closest car that I found would have been almost $6000 more than the Civic. It's an amazing car for the money. Be careful when reading other reviews, as most of the people driving the Civic Si are younger drivers. The one reviewer complaining about a vibration in the brakes is describing the activation of the ABS system. Without it he would have been in a skid.
The power of the ridiculously high revving 2.0 liter engine. It's great in the hands of an experienced driver. 197 horsepower in a 2900 pound car makes you go REALLY fast. Can't wait for the next track day.
The digital speedometer is the worst. The exhaust sounds cool for the first week of driving, afterwords it just sounds obnoxiously loud outside of the car. The constant ribbing a 33 year old man must endure while in a car that looks and sounds like it drove out of "The Fast and The Furious" movie.
