  I had a 93 Astro, with A vortec motor.Did the same thing to my van, Spider Injecter broke a line,filled up my oil.Not to hard to change,but cost $300 for the part .Hope it helps you to know?

  First, change the oil. You have a dangerous situation when gas gets in the oil pan. Second, it sounds like you have a leaking CPI that could be flooding the cylinder when the engine is not running. There is a regulator and a "spider assembly" involved in the fuel injection system, and the leak could be coming from here.

  Sounds like your fuel filter is starting to stop up.That's what mine was when it acted like that.

  when you step on the gas going down the road it acts like it wants to bog out. like it is getting to much fuel. then when i let off th gas it picks back up speed. what can cause that.

  I have a 1993 GMC Jimmy. The turn single have stopped working. Hazards work wipers work, brights work just not blinkers fuse is good and wires don't seem lose. what are my options short of replacing the whole switch for brights/wipers etc

  I checked the dimmer pot. That wasn´t it. I have the digital display. The Speedometer stays lit. Just the coolant,fuel,oil pres,voltage,and tach don´t light up. any other tips?

  Check the dash light potientometer (the switch that adjust the brightness of the dash lights)

  Our 1993 GMC Jimmy started building up carbon in the EGR Valve. We Seafoamed it, but that didn't seem to help. We later put a new gasket on the EGR that has a screen on it.   hey i got a 1993 GMC Jimmy V6..and i was stopin at a light and it just boged out Or stalled out. I had now breaks the whole nine yards..and the truck wouldent start then it would start and run for a few seconds and then stall out again. and that was about it..any ideas wat could be work. Thanks

  Anyone had this issue before where the dash lights go off and not come back on??? Checked the fuses, they are all good. Checked the wiring as best as we could, no burnt wires... Help!
