    @mksip - Please let us know how your experience with gmcustsvc goes. All the information I have points to it just being a way to appear GM is doing something for customers while just trying to get them to not post bad things about GM.

    "Reduced engine power" problems are typically related to the throttle body or gas pedal cable. Other GM vehicles also have this problem. For example, check out the Impala forums for this problem. Good luck.

    My 2007 failed with under 50,000 miles in June of 2011. I was still under warranty so I was lucky. I traded it in it right after the repair. Got a decent trade in value (I took good care of it). GMC was horrible during the repair. I went with an infiniti instead and probably will never buy another GM vehicle because of this.

    If you have a SunRoof on your 2007 and you bought it used, get rid of it as soon as possible. If you bought it new, GM is well aware of all the problems the leaking sunroofs caused.     Some people do get good mpg right out of the gate. Others take a while but at least the mpg should be trending upward as the vehicle breaks in. The info centers have gotten pretty accurate but I'd manually check 4 or 5 tanks too.     Doesn't sound right. I'd open a case with GM. Since you are under warranty, there shouldn't be a diagnostic fee if GM customer service wants you to revisit the dealer.

    How many miles do you have on it? Many new cars take several thousand miles before the mpg starts to get in line with the EPA estimates. My last new car didn't start hitting its stride until ~10,000 miles.

    We recently bought a 2011 Acadia. The posted mileage is 17/24..We are not even close!! The car gets 15mpg and my wife drives 75% on the highway. I wish there was some recourse because the reason we traded in the suburban was for better gas mileage. GMC is guilty of false advertisement and if I could I would send it back to the dealer !!
