How to remove bezel around GPS/radio?
Greetings, The joystick on my 2005 Dodge Magnum GPS just died. I found a place to repair it but I don't see how to get the bezel off around the unit. I found directions how to remove the unit but they start after the bezel is off. Anyone know how to do that? Thanks, Art

i will let you know if i figure it out. i wonder how many other 2005's have this problem? it reminds me of my mothers old 1976 duster that the lights died coming home one night after shoping. me and my sister were very young and we held two pen lights out to let traffic know we were there. i guess i better keep two flash lights in the car!!!

2005 dodge magnum vibration noise
I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum with 68,000 miles. I am noticing a loud vibration noise starting at around 30 mph. Around 65-70 mph it continues as long as I am accelerating. Once I let off the gas the vibration noise silences. And returns as I accelerate. I just got new tires and they checked the front end and found no problems with alignment. Any suggestions. Does anyone know how to remove the navigation dvd so that an upgraded disc can be installed? I owned a newly purchased 2005 Dodge Magnum R\T hemi and because of the model year (2005), I ordered and just received an upgrade navigaton disc, but with no instructions on how to remove the old one and install the upgrade. Whoa-whoa-whoa. Where in the world did you get that a Magnum weighs 5,200 pounds? It would only weigh that much if it were carrying 1,300 pounds of load. My 2005 R/T AWD and had the same shuddering problem during low speed turning. There is a TSB out there on this issue. The first time, the dealer flushed out the transfer case. When the shudder returned they replaced the transfer case. Haven't had the problem since the replacement.

I had a similar problem with my brand new 2005 R/T AWD. It was the transfer case - part of the AWD system. There is a TSB on it. It took my dealer two attempts to fix it. First attempt was to flush the transfer case. When that failed they replaced it under warranty. Either way, I believe your 2005 model should have been covered under the 70,000 mile warranty.

Nope. For 2005 the Lava Red was a 300 color only. The Magnum got Inferno Red which later became Blaze Red, which is what I have. It is possible that for 2006 Dodge will add the Lava Red to the Magnum, but I seriously doubt it.

I've been waiting for a V6 SXT with the 5 speed transmission, larger disk brakes, and heavy duty suspension. This web article on 2006 Magnum police package mentions this combination. DETROIT July 2, 2004; The AP reported that DaimlerChrysler AG is recalling at least 20,000 vehicles because of safety defects, the company said Friday. Any info on the "removable cooler" mentioned from the Detroit Auto Show? Some kind of cooler is integrated in the interior of the wagon; however, the official Dodge Magnum website makes no reference to such an amenity/option.
