I have a 2004 chevy trailblazer Ext. Our rpm gauge stopped working, our speedometer works when it's in the mood. When it doesn't work, it is stuck on 40 mph, even when at a stop. The air conditioner blows hot air, hasn't been cold for about 2 years. We had to replace the blower because the heat would only blow on 1 and 2, but not 3,4, or 5. The back ... Read More
I have a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT. I have just recently started smelling gas under the hood. I had it replaced last summer, when I returned from a tour in Afghanistan, and then a ... Read More
Does your vehicle make a slight whinning noise when you first start it? We have a 2004 with the same mileage and had the same problem. This can be replaced very easily by youself, and you can save a few hundred bucks. I work ... Read More

I was just informed that I have the same issue with my 2004 GMC Envoy XL. First thing I asked was whether they've had seen similar cases.
I wanted to start a new thread, since there are so many posts on the existing one about the problems with the Trailblazer instrument cluster. I believe I may have found a reasonably economical solution to this problem, but first, I want to give some background information on my experience. I also need to vent about ... Read More
