I have a similar issue with my 2010 Lacrosse. However, it only became a problem when my navigation was replaced for an unrelated issue. Now I have a new navigation system that won't pause anymore. When I took it back to the dealership the response from GM about the issue was that this is a known issue that has no solution and they should not replace the navigation. I've been without ... Sarah, I'm having a problem with my 2011 Buick Lacrosse CSX radio as well. I'm not sure of everything that is wrong with it, but the pause button doesn't work. This radio was just replaced in the beginning of October, after xmradio mysteriously disappeared from the original one. And when the dealer did a reset the other day, it didn't help anything, and still the pause button doesn't work. In investigating ... Read More
Outstanding! Thank you for the update and I hope you have a great weekend. Sarah, GM Customer Service
Sarah, The dealer installed another radio today and everything is working properly :). Thanks again for the offer of support.
Seconding hopeful. At least my salesmen had some knowledge of features. As to the seat memory issue they had a solution. Turn it off and don't worry if it works or not. Salesmen, time to rethink my understanding.
Thanks for the encouragement. I'm hopeful that what seems an easy fix is just that. I, too have the CXS version with the 19 inch tires and HiPer strut suspension. One of the struts has already been replaced. My puzzlement with this dealership is all they sell are Buicks...nothing else. It's family owned and is very small. Small as in I think they've got 3 or 4 salesman total. I've seen ... Read More
You are partially right. Many of these features are incorporated as blocks of vehicles. That is some other GM vehicle, maybe even a year newer, might have the same radio/NAV head. Or other identical features. GM implementation makes it near impossible to keep track of what model vehicle has which specific features. And like a home computer, necessary to track what updates or feature changes took place and when. Too much ... Read More

Sorry for both of you. The lighting is controlled with dimmer circuitry. I think that includes the mileage reading. Do you have HUD? NAV is included on the CXS if I remember correctly. Yeah it is a shame indeed, a shame that GM DIDN'T listen to their customer... Don't get me wrong I love the car... it's just one of those... and one of those companies that obviously doesn't care.

but my concern is weather or not there was ever a real fix for all these problems Can you give an example of the problems to which you refer? I have a 2011 CXS with the Touring Package and it has been bullet proof. To make these disparaging comments without evidence is disingenuous to say the least.
mcd2515 is referring to an entirely different car. Starting in MY2010, the Lacrosse was an all new model. My 2011 Lacrosse has 11,000 miles on it now and has been perfect in every respect.
There is a good chance he is referring to me with issues, since mine is like they saved all the defective parts and built it. But there are others, and I'll bet you that I can tell you a defect on any of them you look at. I've looked at at least thirty that all had this issue. Welcome ordmagic. General Motors' lease rates are exactly the same for all Lacrosse trim levels. Its residual values for the CXL and CXS models are exactly the same, so theoretically you could get a similar payment on the XCS if you wanted to put down the difference in price. bwia: Rare bird indeed. Four 1500 mile trips since 7-10 and we have seen a total of FOUR (4) 2010/2011 Lacrosse models and two new regals. since GM sells 4X the number of Buicks in China as in USA they must all be there! The extra cost for certain color choices seems to be a marketing gimmick from our viewpoint. The paint on our "standard" color Quicksliver 2010 CXL looks great ... Read More
My dealer has replaced the shocks and 2 days later the hoods had come down again. Its going back in tomorrow for new shocks again and for sway bar bushings along with spring retainers as they are the source of my rattling sound. Why your dealer does not know of the shock problem is weird to me because its happening with all Buick models of lacrosse's 2010 and 2011. I even ... Read More

Buick's advertised lease special right now is for a 2011 Lacrosse CXL FWD with an MSRP of $32325, and $329 a month for 39mo/39k mile with $1899 down. $395 termination fee. What rates are used with this special, and to compare what would the rates be for a 2011 CXL AWD on a same 39mo/39k mile lease? Ally or US Bank, not sure which they use as the special or which ... I suggest U go to 2011 Lacross in this format. I don't see any one complimenting buick for the 2011 lacross CXS!! In fact after reading this section, I definately will not buy another Buick!!
Hi Car_man! Can I get the current money factors and residuals for 24 and 36 months, 15k miles per year on a 2011 Buick Lacrosse CXL AWD. Thanks!
Hi 7morsn. I'm not sure if US Bank's residual values are the same as Ally's or not. Ally's current residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 Buick LaCrosse CX with 15,000 miles per year is 45%. I'll look into what the US Bank residual value for you. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Read full article at http://www.automotive.com/2011/12/buick/lacrosse/reviews/index.html A very positive and well written article. Here are a couple excerpts: • “We found that when driven hard, the LaCrosse CXS with the touring package gripped the road well and felt solid and controlled. The touring package includes the best handling components, such as H-arm rear suspension, 19-inch wheels, and continuously variable real-time damping. With this equipment, a very favorable ride/handling tradeoff has been achieved. ... Read More
I am the proud owner (2 weeks now) of a 2011 Buick Lacrosse. Although I love the car, I would not recommend buying one without the rear view assist. You litteraly cannnot see anything behind you. In the 2 weeks that I have been an owner, that beep, beep, beep, has prevented 2 accidents. I was a driver of a 2002 Cadillac Deville which great window views everywhere around the vehicale. ... awdbl: Very interesting messages from the drive system. Methinks that all three events are a product of the same sensor that may or may not be a mechanical problem. I had an ABS light ( pre message center) and it turned out to be a sensor built into the rear brake hub. Whole hub needed R&R and problem went away. Explanation was salt and corrosion (maybe), but not on a car ... Read More
You've informed me of more than I knew on the AWD version. I'd get it to the dealer immediately. Hoping it is something simple like GM neglected to make sure a connector was properly engaged and locked. If something has failed, then it does not speak well of GM quality or longevity.
Just passed the 1000 mile mark and the message console tells me that the AWD system and the rear axle need service. A few weeks ago the message console displayed the message that the traction control system needed service and then blinked off. Didn't think anything off it since it didn't come back on.... So it looks like I now have a problem with the traction control, AWD, and rear axle..... ... Read More
I interrupt my Caribbean vacation (it’s raining no hiking today) to share this article. “A BMW 535i sedan, loaded with options such as navigation, adaptive cruise control and night vision, costs about $60,000. The vehicle is highly rated and is powered with a 3-liter, six-cylinder engine. Buick's 2011 LaCrosse, with a 3.6-liter engine, navigation, leather and other options costs about $40,000.
