Great model!
The 2023 Volvo V60 Cross Country is an amazing vehicle! The transmission is awesome, the ride is comfortable, there is plenty of power and lots of cargo space. My last Volvo was a 1990 740 which (after reaching 500,000 miles) I recently gave away (it was still running just fine, and didn’t use any oil between changes).

Best of all worlds
If you’re looking for utility, comfort, luxury and good technology, this Volvo hits the sweet spot on each. It’s not a “sport wagon” but it blends excellent dynamics with day-to-day driveability. I’ve owned regular wagons, crossovers and SUV’s, and like the V60 CC best of all of them. Just enough added night to make entry and exit easier and more than enough cargo capacity for 90% of life. A winner.

Loved everything but the drivetrain
My 2021 V60 Cross Country was my 4th Volvo in a row. My last was a 2013 XC60 T6 R-Design. Maybe that T6 motor just spoiled me, but V60 4 banger in a 4K pound+ car just didn't have neaerly enough oomph. Starting off of stops, where the engine turns off by default, then waiting for the turbo to kick in, followed by an almost immediate shift - it was just anemic. Maybe I would have been OK with it if it got 33mpg, but with the 21.3mpg average I got, it just felt too inefficient to be paying as much as I did. My XC60 got 19.5mpg, but in the entire time I owned it I don't think I ever floored it or felt the need to. The shame is that everything else about the car was awesome. Mine was denim blue with 19" wheels and the camel leather interior, and it felt luxurious and looked beautiful. The seats, true to Volvo's reputation, were unmatched in terms of comfort. People have complained about the infotainment, but other than the apple car play display being rather small, I was fine with it. So as you might have guessed by now I ended up selling it. I would have loved to have gotten the V60 Hybrid, which has much better acceleration and mileage, but the 73K base price tag is ridiculous. I finally went with a Mach-E. I got the single motor, which is still tons more performance than the V60's and is all I feel I need. I miss the Scandinavian design, but am very happy with my choice.

Absolutely horrid vehicle
I had a 2015 V60 CC and there is no comparison. The new V60 is a cheap knock off with the added privacy nightmare of google and the headache of the new control and infotainment design; it is frustrating and dangerous while driving. There's no CD player, ok, but you can't listen to media via USB either. Your're forced to pay for a sirius xm subscription or connect your phone, which I refuse to do because google. The car is lighter and smaller and I don't feel as safe. I've already got a rear cross sensor out and had a left turn signal malfunction. For the price, it's just crap..

Apple CarPlay not good
When you do a lease on an expensive car, and you choose the top trim, you expect that the Apple CarPlay will function accordingly. I am a realtor, and although this car had a GPS, setting up the address wasn't very easy. I often had to drive for one hour, and the Apple carplay would only play music or have the GPS. Sometimes, nothing would work. This is not acceptable, and I gave up on expensive cars. Plus, their website does not favor their clients. My lease was due on the 8th. On the 1st of the month, Volvo will add another month. Once, I thought that I had not paid the last month, and I immediately paid to find out that I had paid twice in a month. Really? I also had the impression that the wheels were not "attached" to the road, which gave me the feeling that I could skip.
