Just got my 2015 Sel 4Mo, First off I got a great deal, money interest rate, great time to buy. We looked at some new ones on the market and so old. We just could not find anything that had the handling, the simplicity of controls and the bluetooth system. We looked at some that were a total distraction when it came to using the Nav etc. Now the Nav system in the VW has not been updated and will soon however if you are not an overly techy person and want a system that works, has one of the best sound systems (fender) excellent pick-up, comfort, Car-Net instant connect for help, directions Etc. GET THIS CAR! The CarNet is excellent. You can set it so you will know if someone exceeds MPH.

I love how premium the car feels. I get in a new Tiguan and they feel incredibly cheap compared to this model year (granted, I do have the SEL trim). The engine is phenomenal and when you bump the shifter over into manual mode, shifts are quick. This car is definitely best when driven a bit aggressively. It's also very comfortable. I drive 7 hours pretty regularly and have no real complaints about seat comfort. Noise isn't great, but the ride overall feel pretty refined. it's much closer to an Audi than a ..Subaru..? in terms of overall ride quality. One more awesome thing: the sound system! Fender is definitely one of the best on the market. I've listened to Harmon Kardon in newer Mercedes models and the Fender is significantly better. A couple gripes about this car though... The screen is TINY! I'm glad it has navigation and all the features of a modern car but my phone is about 2 inches bigger than the screen. I would love for it to be a tad bigger and tilted toward... somewhere other than the ceiling. And finally... the mpg. It's absolutely godawful. And likes premium. And don't get me wrong, I'm not hot rodding this car non stop. I actually do my best to drive conservatively most of the time. But in city driving, I can promise you will NEVER see that 20 number. I've rolled in the driveway with 10 mpg for my trip sometimes. On the highway, if its a warm day with the AC off (bad combo but I was trying to max it out) driving 65 mpg you can get 30 on the highway. But in normal conditions, it sits around 25 mpg highway. A CR-V, CX-5, RAV4, basically any competition will destroy that. This is going to be the main reason I get rid of this car. I'd really like to be a bit nicer to the environment, and I think I'm going to sell this and purchase a Kia Niro PHEV to make up for all the damage I've caused the environment over the past few years.

Have a car for a week (after driving used Lexus RX3303 for 6 years) and have first disappointments I test drive SE model but bought SEL with more options and to my surpirise has discovered that -- as fas as VW think power seat is one that out of 4 adjustments (up/down, lumbar, fwd/back and recline) it is enough to have only ONE powered and three manual. Only recline function is power - be aware. -- in a fully loaded car in 2015 VW did NOT make lights off automatic! This is such a surpise (and annoyance) to remember again to switch off lights when you leaving the car.
