I compared the ID4, Ariya and BZ4X and the ID4 won and had the best rating of these cars. Then I test drove it and fell in love with this car!

Beauty only skin deep

Have test driven this on 4 occasions, the last being last week looking for another EV as a second car. Make no doubt, this a very handsome vehicle! Wheels, smooth lines. While the interior is fairly comfortable, the seating position is odd, at best. The interior design and software screens looks like a child designed them, and the abundance of cheap black textured plastic is “scratch ready”. Now to the ride quality. Most EVs are smooth and quiet, this being no exception. But some EVs excel in this category. The iD4 is at the lower end, with poor noise isolation on rough surfaces, and doesn’t really ride that well. We were quoted 45k for a new Pro S….but thought, why not check out a 23 EQB used, with 4000 mi. For 38K. Do yourself a favor….they take a hit like all new EVs….the EQE is exceptionally nice for the money. Everything about it is better, except in the looks dept. I call mine “the Magic Bus”….

Love the classic looks and on road performance

The ID4 is quick and fun to drive. Love the interior storage efficiency up front and roomy rear hatch. Back seats are comfortable for taller adults. EA charging experience is mostly positive- though more chargers are needed and a better understanding of the widely variable charging speeds in 30 min complimentary charging can be frustrating. I mostly charge at home which is convenient, but hopefully also will extend battery life.
