We are a family of five that were searching for an SUV that would not only comfortably seat our entire crew,but, we needed a vehicle that could tow our 6000lb camper periodically. I offloaded a Chevy Silverado trailboss and picked up the armada. First….the quality of the interior is top notch. The leather is substantial and the seats are comfortable. There is ample room in both the … second and third row seats. We opted for the captains chair configuration which was of benefit due to the added storage and provided a more open feel for the interior. We have adjustable vents for AC all the way to the third row which is a bonus. The rear cargo is lacking expect to sacrifice a rear sear for added luggage space or add a cargo carrier to the roof rack. The stereo is a 13 speaker Bose sound system that sounds fantastic…just enough of everything. The digital display is not over the top…I don’t need a tablet….i need simple features that come with android or apple car play. The response of the digital interface is solid and snappy.The engine…while it is a gas guzzler….it is a beast. I know many buy this vehicle as a grocery hauler…but Nissan really built this thing as an upscale utility vehicle. Slot of the nuance that bother some. Is exactly why I wanted this vehicle. The thirsty V8 and 7 speed transmission make hauling my camper a breeze. This tows better than my 2021 Silverado trailboss. The vehicle feels like it is glued to the road. There is some moderate vehicle lean in turns and a little play in the steering that could feel uncomfortable to some … I quickly acclimated to this. When connecting my camper to my weight distribution hitch the armada would temporarily squat,but, the rear automatic adjusting air suspension quickly leveled the ride. The integrated brake controller that comes standard with these vehicles works great. Some final closing thoughts regarding cosmetics…the lines of this vehicle look great to me..rugged enough…with some luxury accents. The trim and finish are substantial. There is nothing in this vehicle that appears cheap. The interior materials feel like they could easily endure the rigors of being a family vehicle for many years. Some people complain about the throaty sound of the V8…that is stupid…it sounds great.The interior of the vehicle is quiet on the road.I would recommend allowing someone else to eat the up front cost of this vehicle and pick one up used after they dump it at 8k miles and decided they want a better grocery getter. It’s a better deal used than it is new. I picked my 2024 SL up with 9k miles at 38$ which is well under the 60k sticker price. If you want a large-ish SUV that can haul your crew and pull your gear ….this is a no brainer. If you want an suv that look like a Lexus and drives like a mini van…then move on. I have zero buyers regret.
