Just what I expected & not a single problem!

2017 Mitsubishi Mirage
Unless you like to accelerate hard and make a lot of sudden high speed maneuvers, the Mirage lacks nothing in performance: easy to keep up with traffic, stops very well and is quiet and comfortable for this class of car. Had it up to 100mph (verified on GPS) and passenger thought we were doing 80. And it is lots of fun in tight places! Super warranties and low purchase price. I … drove highway miles in east central Illinois, where it can be very windy, with no problems. Shopping around is always a good idea, but I bought this because it has a three cylinder engine like a motorcycle I used to own!
After 5+ years and over 44k miles there is nothing significant I would change about the car that would also be cost effective. I am driving more in town now and the mileage has gone up slightly! Still fun to drive.
Mitsubishi warranty is better than Honda, Toyota, etc.: 5 years 100k! After 5+ years and 44k miles not a single thing has gone wrong!! Not even a bulb or a loose screw, NOTHING at all! For me such reliability is way more important than high horsepower, big tires, etc.
Five+ years now and still no problems of any kind. Warranty expired with zero issues, never needed it! Tires (had 185/16-14 installed, these rotate 859 times per mile vs. 899 stock, requires a 4.6% correction at the speedometer and odometer) and routine maintenance only expenses so far. Gas mileage low 40's all in town.
After 6-1/2 years and 48k miles still no issues to report. Still has original battery. Don't drive much anymore, mileage high 30's on short trips in town only.
Seven years, three months and 50,100 miles same story: no problems, still love it. Might get a battery just to be proactive.
Seven years, nine months 52,600 miles same story: no problems*, (52,616 miles on 1,315 gallons of gas = 40.01 mpg, gotta love it). *one self inflicted problem: way overfilled tank by accident caused fuel gauge to be stuck on FULL for a few weeks. Dealer wanted ~$400 to replace a "purge valve". Resolved itself after weather warmed up.
Eight years two months and ~54,000 miles still getting 40+ MPG and nothing has gone wrong.
