Better than Others

2022 Kia Sorento Plug-In Hybrid
This car doesn't get enough good praises. Bought this used with 25k miles. We've had 3 PHEVs and this one is the most well-rounded PHEV. We had the Chrysler Pacifica PHEV, BMW X3 PHEV, and Audi Q5 PHEV. All are good but all lack in certain areas. Pacifica was great for the family. 30+ mile range on electric but had problems. BMW and Audi are good but mainly focus on speed and not … range. Only ~20 mile range which is not that much. The Sorento consistently gives us 30+ miles range. It does everything right. It's not the fastest SUV, but it's quicker than the Pacifica. Our family is finally shrinking so we can deal with the smaller space. The back seat is usable for short occasions with minimal luggage. Without charging the Sorento will average ~28 mpg on the highway fully loaded. That's pretty good. What's not so good is the size of the gas tank.... The most I've ever put in was 10 gallons. With no charge you can only go around 300 miles. With a charge you can go much further. Overall, this car is worth every penny. Wish Kia made the Telluride a PHEV!!
